Due Dates
Truffles- 9th December 2013
HayleyNZ- 10 Jan 2014
Lanny - 10th Jan 2014

Angel Babies
Anica's December Angel

Mind if I join?? Congrats HayleyNZ - I see we are due date twins!! I'm ignoring one calculator that was trying to be all accurate and stuff and asked for my LP length, as that had a due date of the 14th! I much prefer the 10th so that's what I'm sticking with!!

Looking forward to sharing the journey with you both (and ALL the other mummies-to-be that are going to join us really soon!).

Lanny

Yay! Hi Lanny. I hope we get lots more people in here!!

I am feeling good, a bit nauseous, weak and shakey until after lunch but thats it really at the moment- its still so early though, I know its coming!!

How many children do you have?
I have a DS who is 2

Are you telling people yet?
I have only told my midwife and Pilates instructor and we will be holding off telling anyone else for as long as possible. The family blabbed to everyone the last two times! Plus I kinda of want to tell DS first and I want to be in the safe zone when we do.

The tiredness and nausea if I haven't eaten has started (although I only got my BFP yesterday, so not sure how much is in my head yet!) I'm sure things will certainly "heat up" in the next week or so!

How many children do you have?
I have a DS who is 9 months - we wanted a gap of 2 years or less and I was sure it would take a few months of trying (it was 8 months of TTC before DS stuck) but ended up getting our BFP the first month I actually tracked my cycle!

Are you telling people yet?
DH, I-do and a 12WBT facebook group that I joined. So no one in "real life". I think we will wait until the first Obs appointment & we hear the heartbeat & see the little bean on the screen. Last time we waited until 14 weeks as we wanted to tell my parents in person & they live interstate. This time we won't be seeing them until 16 weeks & I really don't want to leave it that long, so the current plan is once we get the all clear from the Obs, we will make a up a t-shirt for DS with wording along the lines of "I got the job! I start in January! I'm going to be a big brother!" and email a photo of N wearing the shirt to both sets of grandparents.
I'll probably ring my GP in the next couple of days to organise an appointment to get the blood test & my Obs to book an appointment. Last time I didn't see my GP until 8 weeks as she was away and I didn't want to see anyone else, and then had my first Obs appointment at 10 weeks. Am guessing he won't want to see me before 10 weeks again this time, but will ring to see.

Morning Ladies, sounds like the symptoms are really kicking in for you both now with the Nausea etc? I have been having that too but it is starting to get a little better now (I hope!) I started on thr Blackmores MS Formula which I think is helping a little bit? I have been super fussy about what I will and won't eat and worry that I have not been getting enough of the right foods. *sigh*. I've been sticking with carbs and and enjoying fruit this time around too so I figure thats one good thing right?

How many children do you have?
Once gorgeous and very cheeky DS who is now 2years and 7 months... where has that time gone? We have been trying for 1.5 years to get him a little brother or sister but didn't think it would take us this long. We have been asking DS lately if he would like a Brtiher or Sister and he says yes and usually repeats one of those 2 things. Then when we ask would he like it if we had a bubba living with us all the time and he says "Ummmm....... No!" laugh.gif

Are you telling people yet?
I have been a bit naughty and told a few more people than I probably should have. Not a huge amount of people, but last time around I only told family before 12 weeks. This time around a few close friends know as well as there were a few people that knew we were trying and also that I had gone for the Laparoscopy. Its hard not to tell people when they genuinely care about the situation you are going through? so yes, I have let it slip a few times and peopel are just so genuinely happy for us. I am now quite superstitious somehow having done so and just want that 12 week mark to roll around.

We had our first scan about a week ago and got to see that little peanut on the screen and hear the heartbeat wub.gif It never ceases to amaze me how something so small has already developed so quickly and already has its own heartbeat.... truly amazing!

Exciting Truffles about seeing heartbeat and baby! I got a referral for a scan yesterday and will go in about 3 weeks, sooo long to wait!!

I am determined not to be panicky about this pregnancy and wasn't even going to go to the doctor (midwife all booked) but mentioned I was pregnant to the nurse yesterday when I took my DS for a flu shot. She had me doing urine, swabs, bloods and got me a scan referral tongue.gif With DS I was getting bloods every two days and was sick with worry. This time I am totally cruising and what will be will be. I think when you already have a child you don't have time to worry!!

I have felt yuck the last two days and better today. I seem to have a good day then two not so good days, I wonder if bubs is growing lots on my yuck days.

I've got 6 weeks to wait until I see my little peanut. I really hope that time flies. I too am trying not to be such a worrier this pregnancy. I keep telling myself that I carried and birthed one perfect, healthy little man, I can do it again. (And trying very hard not to let the, "But something can still go wrong" voices get me down when the do creep in!)

Oh Hayley, sending you super sticky vibes & wishing you a nauseous Mother's Day (but just enough to reassure you!) I keep wondering if I am feeling "sick" enough. I was a little reassured yesterday when I was ready for bed at 7:30pm & then woke at 3am & couldn't get back to sleep - fingers crossed it was pregnancy insomnia. And I also feel hungry a lot more often. I will feel much better after getting my blood test too.

Hi Ladies! Hayley, echoing the same thing as Lanny said above re- the nauseous but still enjoyable Mothers Day. Just to reassure you a bit, my MS didn't really kick in until close to 6 weeks. I spent the first few weeks worried if I had enough symptoms, worried that I didn't have MS or even a super strong sense of smell this time and was everything ok? At the 6week mark... BAM, hello MS wacko.gif For some reason it felt like those symptoms took a little longer to kick in this time around, but when they did they seem double what they were for last pregnancy. Not sure if that helps at all? Also, as reassuring that the symptoms are, some women just don't get many symptoms (as I was reassuring myself only a few weeks ago) and hence there are so many "I didn't realise I was pregnant" type stories. Thinking of you and sending super sticky vibes, good luck with the blood test if you decide to have one xxx

Will be back soon to add appointments etc in and do more persons, just doing a quick post on my phone!

Thanks for the support girls! 5 days ago my hcg level was 980 and now its 8500! Woo hoo! So all is normal, I must be lucky for now! I did feel sick to my stomach yesterday arvo and this morning but I reckon thinking about it and worrying brings it on?? As I don't feel sick when I am busy not thinking about it! wacko.gif

Glad everything is ok, you do get rather attached even at this early stage wub.gif

Still feeling nauseous and tired but thinking that I may be seeing some glimmers of hope as I can see an improvement in the last 24hours, then again I have thought that before and the MS comes back in full force wacko.gif Oh, and my boobs are really sore at the moment and are huge already.... no hope for me for how they will be in another 6 months time! laugh.gif

Lanny, how are you feeling Hun?

Also, how is everyone finding their pregnancy so far, compared to this stage with their first pregancies? Are there any differences or is it too early to say?
