Um, holy crapola, I missed this!!!! Huge, HUGE congrats Truffles, so excited for you!!! Thrilling news
Thanks Porthos!! Seeing your kind words actually made my day! We are very excited and can't believe that this has finally happened after our 1.5 years journey to get here
Congrats girls, very deserving mummies to be. So happy for you.
Hope 12 weeks goes quickly, I know how scary they are.
Thanks K&J, so good to see you again! My goodness, where has that time gone... it seems like just the other day that you got your BFP and now there is not much longer to go! Hope you are feeling well and can't wait to hear your big announcment soon!
So happy to see you opening his thread truffles. Cant believe its been nearly a year since i fell pregnant with noah. Jan/Feb is an awesome time to have a bub. Hope you girls have just as many great ladies like we have in our jan/feb mums group
Thanks Victoria! Wow, I can't believe its been that long either, where did that time go? I just love looking at your signature, Noah is absolutely gorgeous!
Well it seems that it is really starting to kick in with me now I find I am getting a massive energy slump in the afternoons after lunch and I just have no energy for 2-3 hours. Yesterday I ran a training session from 0930-1300 and at the end of it all I was absolutely knackered. All that extra effort of standing up and talking and trying to be especially "jolly" seemed to take a lot more effort than it usually does for me for some reason Oh and I was starving at the end of it too!! I am also a bit queasy and I am being a giant PITA in terms of what I will and won't eat/ cook etc. I felt bad as DS was asking for sausages for dinner last night but there was just no way I could stand the smell of cooking them so I made him an omlette instead I was also enjoying a lovely dinner the other night and halfway through starting gagging on it for no reason at all and then I was unable to finish it. I don't necesarily feel sick in the stomach, it just seems that I have a very sensitive gag reflex right now. On another note I am really enjoying orange juice for some reason!
Anica, how are you feeling at the moment? Anything much to report? Hope you are staying well! Have you told many people yet like family? I bet they are over the moon for you guys!

'Deuxième Bébé thanks for popping in to say Hi, still looking forward to finidng out who you are, I think I have a few people in mind actually! Do I 'know' you at all? And when will you be giving more clues!
You would know my regular log-in, and we have definitely posted in some of the same threads from time to time I will probably reveal in a week or two once we have told people...... I'm just waiting for my DH to tell me it's OK to tell people. I told him this morning he had better hurry up since I look like I've put on about 5kg this week I will do a guessing thread once I'm allowed to spill......
That first trimester exhaustion sucks doesn't it? I'm just coming out of it now. Instead of flagging at 10am and having to sleep half the day I'm OK til the evenings and even making it past 8pm some nights. I'm still more tired than normal though. Good luck with the food smells, they can be killers! So much harder when you have other kids to feed and things you have to do. I do remember first time around just ignoring cooking and eating iceblocks if I felt like it, no such luck with a toddler to look after! It's great news your symptoms are kicking in though, I'm sure it makes it feel more real

Is there anyone out there who can come and join me in here? I am terribly lonely and sad in here all by myself. I looked forward to the day where I would get to post in one of the Mummies to be groups again and now it seems that there is no one to share this journey with
Its sad because I rememember the days where the Mummies to be groups (and the TTC Cafes for that matter) where the life of the party that was I-Do..... what happened?
*sigh* Guess I'll just try and keep myself entertained in the meantime and hope that somebody comes to join me soon.

I really hope that you get some company soon. It's so sad that the DIGs have dwindled to nothing, I used to love stalking them so much in my pre-bitter-infertile days..
I hope your pregnancy is going well so far. How are you feeling?

I'm OK.... I had a really bad cold and upper resp infection last week which really knocked me around and just exacerbated that fact that I was continually tired and nauseated I have started on the Blackmores Morning Sickness Formula last week which I think helped a bit, plus I am getting a bit better at managing the symptoms I think? The cold is thankfully almost cleared up and dare I say it I am starting to feel slightly human again We have our first scan and meeting with the Obs on Friday afternoon and I am so hoping to hear a heartbeat Please God, let us hear that hearbeat!
Would still love some company soon, agree its sad that these groups have dwindled away like this

Truffles how did I miss this? So excited for you Hun. That lap was just what you needed!
Yep, the Lap did the trick for sure... the Specialist found 3 spots of endometriosis which I had no idea was there. In hindsight there were some symptoms that had slowly appeared over the last 12months, that plus our failed TTC attempts really were making me think that 'something' was wrong I just didn't know what. Apparently it is one of the most common common reasons for secondary infertility and can set of an immune response in the body making it harder to conceive. I just feel so incredibly lucky to have found a good specialist who picked it straight away and helped us conceive again

This is my 3rd April conception/due January pregnancy

Sounds like April is a very fertile time for you for some reason! A due date of 2 days after your DS' Birthday is lovely although you may end up being busy with birthday parties in years to come!
How are you feeling at the moment? Hope you are feeling well and looking forward to sharing this journey with you!
