Firstly I can't believe I am starting this thread... I am the most unfashionable person out there!!!!

Ok so what are people wearing this season? What are you buying and from where???

I was going to get a new overcoat (my old one is very, very old) but instead ended up getting this trenchcoat/raincoat -> trenchcoat in a purple colour, I got it for a ridiculous price as it was the last of their stock.

I need a pair of pants, that don't look like jeans but are as warm and comfy. Or should I get some jeans in a different colour? What do people wear out? Not that I go out that much, but I am sick of always wearing jeans if I want to wear pants!

I also need some more winter tops, but don't even really know where to start!

I'm on the hunt for a pair of flat chocolate brown boots. I also wouldn't mind grabbing one of these long cardys as I love Moda's stuff.. Along with a couple of things from Morrison. I recently grabbed this long knitted dress from them that I've worn a couple of times with a black long sleeved tshirt & leggings underneath. You can wear it as a dress but I wouldn't be game. tongue.gif

This year I'll probably wear what I normally do - lots of jeans, knee high boots, long tops & long knee length cardys, trenches or my pea coat. With different scarves and belts.

When I go out, it's mostly jeans and a dressy top for me. Morrison have the most comfortable and versatile velcro topped black pants Here. They are great if you are looking for something other than jeans to wear out, suit most shapes and are really, really comfy.

As for winter tops, I'd suggest sussing out as many of the well known labels online to see if anything grabs your attention. Or check out the Myer & DJ websites that have lots of labels in one place. Maybe something will jump out that you like.

Great trench by the way. smile.gif

I just recently bought 3 pairs of the Katies ultimate pants with skinny leg . Denim, black and a greeny colour. They're nice and warm and because they're skinny leg will be good to wear with boots come winter but still look nice with ballet flats for now. Love the fit of them and that they sit up high and help suck in my tummy!

I''ve been guilty of dressing quite daggy in winter so, since I've lost weight and need all new clothes, I'm trying to keep it (at least semi) stylish!

Oh, thanks for that, I need some skinny leg black pants! I went on a spending spree at Target today and grabbed a pair on my way to the checkouts, but as I suspected they didn't fit me properly and looked bad, so I'll get a refund and try the Katies ones instead. smile.gif

Another fan of the Katie's skinny jeans/pants here. smile.gif

My autumn/winter wardrobe tends to involve a lot of layering... In Tassie we get really cold mornings that can one up to ok days, we also get a lot of rain and wind, so outfits have to be versatile.

Casually I tend to wear jeans and knitted cardis or warm tops, work is dresses & skirts with opaque stockings, tunics and dresses with leggings, or just classic tailored pants with a variety of tops. As I said, there's a lot of layering, plenty of scarves, I've got a couple of pair of boots (long & short) but tend to spend a lot of time in ballet flats in lots of colours.

After COMPLETELY letting myself go after having Ivy, I've started to pull myself together a bit and put a bit of effort in to looking a bit less like a homeless woman. I'm hoping to lose weight and go from an 18 down to a 14ish as my first goal so I'm not wanting to spend a fortune on clothes when I'm hopefully not going to fit into them for very long.

I recently got these BOOTS which I am completely in love with wub.gif

I got a biker jacket similar to THIS one, but less shiny and synthetic looking, and a striped blazer similar to THIS

I have some red jeans which are too loose to be a skinny jean, but too tight to be a straight leg, so I just rolled the bottoms up and they're doing ok as a 7/8th jean.

I also got a really basic jersey khaki maxi dress which I'm hoping to work into my winter wardrobe.

On my wish list is a long sleeved body con dress from asos HERE and after looking for that link I notice they've put up a whole heap of new stuff and now I want lots and lots of stuff from the curve/inspire range.

I've tried on so many pairs of skinny leg jeans from so many stores and always find that there is something that is wrong with the fit and the Katies ones are the only ones that tick all my criteria. Just a note, you'll need to get a size smaller than what you really are. Also, I recently bought mine online for 40% off, and they often have a similar type sale.

So I've just ordered this dress from Ez1buy. I'm really nervous because I don't usually buy clothes for me online. I'm really concerned that it will be too fitting over my belly, but I've been looking for a knit dress for ages and I really love this one, so I'm just hoping it fits well!

Anyone else been making some purchases?

Very nice, and on special!!!

No purchases apart from last minute maternity tops for mothers day cause I'm wayyyy too big to make it through to the end without them.

I'll be on the hunt for some mid-calf slouchy boots to replace my old ones though once bub is here and I am off work and have some time to shop! Mine have a hole in the end and I didn't realise or would have bought some end of season last year. Now I'm going to have to shell out big $$$ for them but don't think I'll be making it through winter without.
