How did / will you narrow down your options?
What activities (Leisure, romance etc.) you would like to do in during your honeymoon?
How did you book your honeymoon?

How did / will you narrow down your options?

My wedding is still far away and we are in the middle of preparations. Right now I am, still on the process of searching. Yes, I prefer just here in Australia.

What activities (Leisure, romance etc.) you would like to do in during your honeymoon?

Fishing , swimming, boating, hiking and going to some local attractions. But I prefer going sky diving but I guess my FH won't allow me. He said it's too risky, maybe later.

How did you book your honeymoon?

I have not done it yet. Well it depends on our budget. But I prefer having a travel agent to do the organizing. But I got the feeling that it would cost more than doing it by myself.

We found cheap flights to Bali, that's kind of how we chose really. DH did a lot of research to determine where we went within Bali, but we didn't have a set location in mind when we started planning.

We did a good mix of activities, some relaxing, some sightseeing, a few organised activities and plenty of just enjoying each others company doing whatever we felt like that day.

DH researched and booked everything online, he did a lot of research on Trip Advisor which helped with choosing places to stay and companies to use.

Bali seems like a wonderful place for a sunny tropical honeymoon. smile.gif But i have been there before so, i am thinking for somewhere further like Paris or Venice, it would be so great. Currently using wego australia to compare prices for flights to those places. I intend to travel during the non peak season so that It won't be so crowded and also there will be more rooms available too..

Our honeymoon was in 2010. We booked round the world tickets and went to North America, the UK, Europe and Asia for 6 months. We did no tours, we hired cars in all of our destinations and just generally got around on our own. Which I liked! I didn't really want to share my honeymoon with tour groups!
Our favourite thing to do was to arrive in a new city and just walk around and see what we found along the way! Don't worry about what you're meant to do in a certain location (don't feel like you have to visit tourist sites) and just have a good time!
Last year we took our daughter to Hawaii, I found trip advisor great!!
Hotwire is good for mystery hotels.

Good luck and have fun!!

Oh and we were 24 and 25 so booked with the travel agency that deals with students and people under 26 (SPA? I think).
Choosing a destination?
If I had to choose one: Hawaii for the win.
Or Japan.

Our second baby is due mid April

I married my best friend on May 2 2010.

Our beautiful little Imogen is 2
