The other night I dreamt that my mum had twin baby girls. My mum would def not get pregnant again, she is 48 years old. Im not sure why I would dream this??
Do you think its just that we are ttc ? My dad is an identical twin also which makes it seem ever weirder????
Any ideas ??

To dream of babies indicates a change in direction - a new beginning - in the dreamer's life.

The sex of the babies, and probably that they were twins is also relevant to the interpretation - but I can't research it now - I'll get back to you if noone else does. wink.gif

i have just been reading 'Jane Eyre' and in it she claims that to dream of children is to foresee something bad happening. in the book she dreams of children when her aunt gets sick and dies as well as before her wedding is cancelled

but its just a dream

Further to what I left you with earlier...

To dream of a girl is considered a good omen or can represent the feminine side of your personality. To dream of twins represents double the joy, or in the case of adult twins can represent double the trouble.

Sometimes dreams reveal to us things from our pasts that we knew nothing of - is it possible you were a twin (an early miscarriage of one twin?) or that your Mum lost twins or twin sisters that she cared for as babies?

Thanks for the reply Anita, no I wasnt a twin and there is no history of miscarriages of twins or similar- the only connection I have to twins is that my dad is an identical twin! Maybe this is where it comes from???>>>>??....??

Thanks again

Thanks...always wondered about what babies meant. I dream about them a lot!
