Long time member, I am going anon for a myriad of reasons.

Spotting. Once off, last night, a substantial 'amount' when wiping.

Having never, ever had it before I have no idea what my body is doing. I’ve felt very random niggles here and there over the past few days, but nothing that seems out of the ordinary (‘around’ ovulation time) except for the bleeding.

I have no idea what day I am, as it’s been that long since we’ve kept record of charting, OPKs or any sort of interest in my cycle. I'd say maybe day 15?

Confused. I’m not even quite sure what I’m asking – experiences maybe?

My understanding is that sometimes you can get spotting at the time of ovulation, I'm not really sure why but I don't think its anything to be concerned about if it is just a one off. If you are TTC though perhaps get to it as it may well mean you have just O'd or are about to wink.gif

If you get more bleeding or you are still concerned do go and see your Dr, it never hurts to check these things if they're worrying you.

**preg mentioned**

I had something very similar during and IVF cycle, equivalent to about 9dpo. I remember just staring at it and getting in the shower and sobbing so hard I thought I was going to pass out. That night I went to the toilet a ridiculous amount of times but no more blood.

A few days later I did a test and it was a bfp.

I really hope you have the same outcome xx

I started spotting for a couple of days and then up until about to about 10 days when TTC #2. Always a substantial amount, I would need to wear a liner while it was happening.

I had a uterine polyp which was really no big issue at all, lots of people have them but generally don't have any symptoms so don't know. It can affect TTC a little in terms of implantation and they can reoccur even if you have them removed. OBGYN removed it, took about 15 mins all up under GA. I could have had it done under a twilight sedation in his rooms but I'd already paid my PHI excess that year so just had it done in hospital as a preference.

Not saying that's what you have at all but the start of my symptoms was similar and I waited a long time to get it checked out because I was worried which is silly really!
