I have personalised a book through heartfelt or something, and going to get a voucher for couples massage, since traditionally paper is for the 1st.

What did you give?

I did a photobook, with photos from our first year of marriage.
Now I'm coming up to our 2nd anniversary - cotton - and am stuck.

When I am grown up I will understand how beautiful it feels to administrate my life effectively.
Until then I will continue to torch all correspondence that bores me and to dance naked over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

We talked about getting a newspaper subscription for our first anniversary but we never got around to it. We've never actually done any of the traditional anniversary gifts. Usually we just have a nice dinner out and leave it at that.

I gave DH a magazine subscription and a book for our first.

For our second - cotton, we needed new sheets etc as we'd just finished renovating our room, so we bought ourselves a really nice sheet set, quilt set, and new blanket. Not very exciting, but we probably wouldn't have bought those items otherwise and it is really nice putting our "anniversary sheets" on the bed.

We both forgot ours.

The only anniversary gift I have done was for our fifth - I got him porn - wood. Tehe.

We've been pretty lousy with anniversary gifts since we got married, but one gift I did make for DH for our 3rd year together was a memory box, where I wrote memorable events from the year onto small pieces of decorated card and put them all in a box. He loved it.

For our first I was 7 months pregnant, so it was pretty low key. I don't remember if I got him a gift or felt carrying his child was sufficient.
For our second we went out to dinner at a fancy place with our baby.
This year is our third and we are going to start TTC#2 on our anniversary... So hopefully baby #2!

Our second baby is due mid April

I married my best friend on May 2 2010.

Our beautiful little Imogen is 2

A photo book is a great anniversary gift. I love that idea!
