QUOTE(Windsor @ Nov 23 2012, 04:59 AM) View Post

Scan went well yesterday, measuring 9w1d and even better, we got to see bubs without using the internal ultrasound, win!

Yay biggrin.gif It must have been magical hearing that heartbeat fluttering away and I'm so glad its all gone well for you this time, wonderful news! Have your dates changed at all from what they saw or were you pretty spot on already?

Does Cait do daycare or Kindy ever? Could you perhaps do that for a couple of hours so you could both go check things out?

Personally I am going the private route. I have not yet booked in with the Obs I want but that is not an issue because the Dr I work for works closely with him and the staff there all know me and have told me that they will fit me in whatever! My Dr is not the only reason but is certainly one of the main reasons I am going private. He is an aneasthetist and should I, for whatever reason, need a caesarean or decide I want an Epi he is the only one I want doing it and that means a private hospital as he recently gave up working in the public system. I also like the idea that DH can stay with me overnight and that the hospital is not just up the road from my inlaws like the public one would be ph34r.gif

No, dates haven't changed, they said within 3 days is an acceptable margin before they start to question the EDD.

Cait does 4 days of daycare while I work but hospital tours at both hospitals are done on a Sunday afternoon, otherwise that would be perfect!

DH staying overnight won't be a concern either as this is #2 so he's got to be at home. My main concern is being able to stay as long as I want and not being pushed out before I'm ready. Took quite a while to establish BF with Cait and while we got the hang by about 8 weeks the whole experience was far from successful and she was fully weaned by 14 weeks.

Looks like at this stage I will be joining you wub.gif

Finally after 7 IVF cycles in 13 months - a mix of fresh & FET we seem to have something going right. This was a FET with 2 5 day embies grown out from frozen at day 3. This cycle I went gluten free and did immune protocol which I had to push for. The only reason I tested was I am peeing all the time which started yesterday and I also had nausea start yesterday which was a lot worse today.

It looks like I will be due 7 August ( if pregnancy continues). I will be going private and have already picked my Ob & hospital. This is my second pregnancy but will hopefully be first baby as we lost our last bub at Xmas in 2010. Funny thing is this due date is 6 days after what that bubs was. I will be having bub in July though as I will be having a c-section.

Hi,

Do you mind if I join this group? I had a positive test on Wednesday which came as a huuuge shock as I have a 10 week old little girl. I went for a urine and blood test on Friday which just came back positive so I have made an appointment with my GP for this afternoon to discuss the next steps.

This is my old anon username as I deleted all my posts under my other login. I am not sure that many people will know who I am.

Yay Serendipity I'm so pleased for you and loving how many IVF-ers are in this mummies group biggrin.gif Fingers crossed this one goes all the way for you.

Hi Babyontheway, my aren't you going to have your hands fulf next year? Congratulations and welcome to our little group. So nice to see it filling up a bit.

My BT on friday was good again which is great but I made the mistake of straying onto Dr Google ph34r.gif and I'm a bit concerned that actually my beta levels are rather high for this stage of pregnancy unsure.gif It might be nothing and certainly the clinic doesn't seem to be worried about it at all but then again I'm not sure if they would say anything as the only way to tell would be US and I am booked in for that on thurs. Trying not to stress too much but it has me really worried that this might be a molar pregnancy and I am terrified of seeing an empty sac on the US sad.gif So much waiting and worrying...

Hels, I had high bHCG with this one too but all is fine. I also get quite high E2 levels so I'm just super hormonal I guess! DH would agree...

Thanks Windsor, I think I'm just a bit paranoid wacko.gif this is the furthest we've ever managed to get and I'm afraid someone's going to whip the rug out from under us at any minute. I think if we get to thur and we hear that precious heartbeat I might be able to relax a little.

Woodland - good luck for your scan I hope all went well. Would love to see a pic if you don't mind sharing smile.gif

Congratulations babyontheway.

I did another test today and the test line is darker than the control so we are a little more positive about this one today.

I went to accupuncture this afternoon and I think I will have my BETA done wednesday afternoon and just make up some excuse about it being earlier.

I'm going to ring the Ob tomorrow & book in and then ring my urologist & get a letter from him about my kidney/bladder issues. I am going to tell my urologist he is my lucky charm as a week after I saw him 2 years ago I found out I was pregnant and now again.

I'm annoyed it took 7 IVF cycles, just add that up in $$$ terms and it was me pushing for a certain protocol that looks like it is the reason it has worked.
wub.gif
Oh well fingers crossed for Wed and I can't wait to share this exciting time with all of you especially Hels & Windsor

I am out after a very short stay. I got my blood results back and they were negative. I am assuming the home test was faulty or picked up something from my recent pregnancy. Thank you for the warm welcome ladies. All the best on your journey and I look forward to hearing about your precious little bundles in 6-9 months time smile.gif wub.gif
