Woodland my birthday is the 6 June, all the very best people are born on that day biggrin.gif

So how are all the pregnant ladies feeling today? We got our test results back and HCG is now up to 23,000 so everything is still doing what its meant to which is wonderful, I can't tell you how relieved I am!

Hi Tigridia and thanks. We obviously would have been thrilled whenever our baby was due but I do think having a winter bubs will be lovely and so much nicer on the Mamma once we've reached whale staus laugh.gif

I'm off and on with sickness, good days and bad days but no throwing up, just constant nausea. Never threw up with Cait either but was nauseous from about 6 weeks til 18 all day. So going better this time around.

I'm also having a winter baby, and like Helsbels, it will be an IVF bub. My due date is July 23, which is just over 2 weeks after DD turns 11.

This is #2, after 4.5 long years and a miscarriage in August 2010.

Looking forward to getting to know you all

Congratulations Lisa wub.gif It's quite a journey isn't it but well worth it to achieve this! I've put you in the list I hope that's ok.

Windsor I hear you on the nausea! I've had it since about 2 days after transfer but then they've got me on so many hormones that it's not really surprising. Lemonade helps ease it for me a lot. Not actually being sick though so its all good, it makes me feel more like this might actually be real and I worry on days when I don't get nauseous rolleyes.gif

LOL Windsor, thank you I was going to do that too. Is your first obs appointment 14 Nov or Dec?

Congratulations Lisa. What fantastic news after such a long wait. Wishing you an uneventful long 8 months.

Hels, that's great to hear lemonade has been helping you. I bought a bottle to give it a try.

I have still been super tired and find if I don't eat frequently enough I start to feel really sick, doesnt help that the thought of eating most of the day makes me feel queasy too. I'm actually feeling more under the weather then the previous two. I am wondering if that's though because I'm still breastfeeding DD. We went on a snack food shop Friday night...mmmmm... Was a bad move going just after payday (monthly) with a starving, hadn't eaten much all day, craving snacks, slightly sick pregnant woman shopping. All sorts of things (nothing healthy) got thrown in, not that DS or DH were complaining. laugh.gif then again today, we did the grocery shop and I went on a little potato bender. Hubby laughed when we got to the frozen potato section and I wanted to throw everything in. LOL. I did restrain myself a little but the thought of potato is about the only thing that doesn't make me cringe. Then not 1 but 2 boxes of chicken nuggets fell into the trolley, I figured it was something easy as well I can quickly eat when I instantly get hit by the really sick feeling I get. One minute I'm fine then next I'm almost throwing up and need something in my belly fast.

Struggling with food aversions big time today! Salad is a definite no-go. I can force down some fruit or steamed/roast veg on occasion but if I could live on EasyMac I totally would!

How is everyone else?

Yes also having issues here. DH cooked a gorgeous steak for me the other night and I barely managed half of it, it didn't taste funny or anything but I just didn't want it and I was finding it a real struggle to get it down blink.gif I'm with you on the potatoes Jazy DH did jacket potatoes with the steak and I sat there thinking I could quite happily just have had 2/3 of them and nothing else! Basically the only things I'm really desiring are anything with carbs and/or cheese. I was doing my meal plan for the week and then I looked it over and realised I had cheese in some form for every meal wacko.gif

The clinic sent out this little pamphlet with our 'congratulations you are pregnant' letter about the first few weeks of pregnancy and it said most women put on around 0.5-2kg in the first trimester. Hubby took his life in his hands and said 'well you'll be going for the full 2kg then' dry.gif however if I don't ease up on the cheese diet I'm thinking he might be right!!

My only food aversion is milky things. Im fine with everything else thank goodness. Definitely enjoying fruit more than usual which is great!

I've put on 1kg so far and am 12 weeks on thursday so looks like Im on track with weight gain.

Absolutely hanging out for our NT scan on Monday, can't come soon enough!

I bought a few nice loose long tops from Jeans West today to wear with leggings. I feel super comfy in leggings at the moment as all my jeans are too tight at the waist even though I've only put on 1kg my belly is definitely sticking out more!

DS woke me up 4 times last night! Good practice for when baby comes I guess!

Have a good day everyone :-)

Yes good luck Windsor. Quite jealous about you getting to see your bub (I've still got over a week to wait yet) but looking forward to hearing all about it smile.gif

Scan went well yesterday, measuring 9w1d and even better, we got to see bubs without using the internal ultrasound, win!

Got my BT and referral for NT scan which I didn't do the first time around but think I will get done this time. Hoping to get up to the hospital this weekend to do a tour but have a bit of a dilemma as we don't want to take DD and haven't really got anyone here atm we can offload her on as we have a few friends away. We don't want to tell her yet.

So DH suggested I go on my own as I'm the one who will make the decision anyway but I feel odd going to do it all on my own like a single mum (even though he was deployed when I had DD and I did it all on my own anyway!) Still tossing up between the public which has a really good rep but is a regional hospital technically and doesn't do high risk or early deliveries (and I've had a c-sect already) and private with an ob at a bigger hospital that will do from 32 weeks...
