Well it doesn't look like there is a June or July mums to be group and given the low number of posters it might be easier to get a group of winter mums together.

Who else is expecting a winter baby?

Congratulations HelsBels! IVF babies are that little bit more special, I love hearing about them. Good luck for your BT on Friday. I'm guessing BT = blood test?

Thanks, we're thrilled but cautiously so becuase we've been here before and it didn't end well. My test results were so much stronger this time though so we are hoping that this one is 'the one' wub.gif Yes BT = blood test, sorry too much time spent talking about procedures I tend to shorten everything rolleyes.gif

Congrats to you too, third baby what a blessing wub.gif Fingers crossed there will be some more winter mums to be joining us soon.

And thanks Victoria I will take all the sticky vibes I can get!

I'm another winter mummy to be. EDD is 6th june.

I'm now living back in New Zealand though so will have a slightly different health system experience to you all this time. My first child was born in Brisbane, he is now 3 and a half.

I'm thankfully feeling very well this time around, I just get very tired in the afternoon.

Looking forward to my 12 week scan in about 10 days time, I'm 37 so a bit nervous about a high risk result.

I hope your next blood test goes well helsbels. Congratulations to you Jazy!

Woo Hels! Yay!!!!!!

My EDD is 28 June, have been keeping it pretty quiet over here as it's pregnancy #3 for this year but I'm up to 8 weeks now and we've had a scan a week ago with a heartbeat. Next scan is next thurs and then a NT scan a few weeks after that.

Congratulations Windsor and Woodland. That's fantastic news.
great to hear your 8 weeks Windsor, with a good scan. Wishing you very sticky vibes and uneventful 7ish months.

Woodland it will be interesting following your journey and hearing if there are any significant differences in the health care.

I finally went to the gp yesterday. Had my bloods taken and urine, Also got my referral for a dating scan. Yeah. I'm going the week after next, when I will be almost 8 weeks(I think). Hubby is on holidays then and he hasn't been able to come to any of the earlier scans before, only the 19week ones.

Who would like me to add their name and EDD on the first post? Just add yourself to the list below and I will update on the computer later.

Thanks for the welcome.

So far the main difference in health systems is that I've chosen my own midwife and she sees me at her rooms for all my ante natal appointments, then she delivers the baby at the birthing centre or hospital and then visits me at home for 6 weeks post natal care. I chose my midwife from recommendations from 3 close friends that all had her. I met her last week for my first appointment and really like her.

I have my 12 week scan booked in for 10 days time. I can't wait to hopefully get the all clear, being 37 I'm a bit nervous.

I'm feeling quite well this time and am so relieved as I suffered terrible morning sickness with DS from weeks 7-16. I just get very tired in the late afternoon and evening.

I hope you are all feeling well and lots of sticky and healthy vibes to us all.
