Ok so I need help shopping.

I want a retro high waisted bikini for summer as my mummy tummy won't handle a regular bikini any longer. I have one of those lovely post c section overhangs that slightly overhangs the top of any regular bikini pants.

I also want a reasonably priced one. As I just can't bring myself to spend in excess of $100.

And for the other question, are monokinis that bad? It seems there are quite a few people who think they look awful. I am not talking about the itsy bitsy teeny weeny type but the more one piece with side cut outs look.

Thank you all smile.gif

Check out Ezibuy, they have some nice high waisted bikinis at reasonable prices. I just got some high waisted bottoms and a tankini top for maximum coverage laugh.gif

I love the high-waisted retro kind, although I always picture them with very pointy 50s bra cups and perms biggrin.gif

As for monokinis - I actually had to google to find out what one was biggrin.gif

IMO I'm not a fan of the ones with the side cut-out. I've seen a lot on models who have fabulous figures and I feel that from the side the amount and shape of skin showing isn't that flattering. I feel like a normal well-cut one-piece is more flattering to any figure, but then I'm rather a prude wink.gif
