So it is only 17 days till we fly to the UK and I haven't even started packing.

I have been putting bits and pieces aside for the kids to take on the plane, but haven't even though about myself.

Lipgloss and Socks are the main things that come to mind for me at the moment.

So what are your essentials for on the plane??

We fly from Syd to Dubai (14 hours) with a 2 hour stop before heading to Glasgow (another 7 hours).

To that I would add earplugs and eye drops. I always put a tiny bit of lipbalm just inside my nose as the air is sooo drying. I have a change of undies and shirt in case lost luggage and new shirt in case of food being spilt etc or a child who vomits. We saw one child projectile all over himself and his mum on the way back from Heathrow.

I always like to pack a pashmina as well - makes an outfit more presentable and an easy blanket if having a sleep

Any medication you take, or sleeping tablets for flight - also medication letter from your doctor
Spare underwear
Travel size moisturiser for hands and face
Baby wipes for refreshing face and whatever else
Travel size deodorant to refresh
Travel pillow(one of the blow up ones is good)
Eye drops
Toothbrush (most airlines provide toothbrush but just in case) good for brushing teeth if you have a stop over

Ooo, how exciting!

--M-- has mentioned pretty much everything I'd pack. Shawl, spare undies, socks, small toiletries and meds are the top of my list. Followed by fully charged iPhone (bring your charger, some planes have USB chargers onboard) and noise cancelling headphones - might not need that with the kids though smile.gif

Have a great trip!

What could be more essential than your passport? Seriously. essential for me is a few piece of clothing, 2 pairs of footwear, my vanity kit, my wallet with cash and credit cards.

Hey ,The most important is your passport.Another things depends on your purpose of going out there .If you have small kid then don't forget to carry Baby carriers because it will be beneficial for you to move your baby easily .
