Ahh I love these threads... so many great books!

Yep, Dr Seuss is becoming popular here too with our current favourite being "Mr Brown can moo can you?" So many great/ funny sounds biggrin.gif
The 'Pants' Books... 'Pants' and 'More Pants' Very entertaining for a toddler... and Mum and Dad wink.gif
Oh Dear
I know a Rhino
Wombat Stew
Each peach pear plum
Rumble in the Jungle
We're going on a bear hunt
Pretty much any lift the flap books like Spot
Sing along books like The wheels on the bus and There were ten in the bed.

Ahh I could go on and on, I just love them all. I was seriously jumping out of my skin when DS was given the Dr Seuss box-set for Christmas... happy days! biggrin.gif

In our house at the moment it's all about Dr Seuss - Green eggs and ham, One fish two fish red fish blue fish, Fox in socks...

I refuse to read Fox in Socks. It makes me want to throw the book across the room. And I don't think that's thought of as very good parenting.

ah yes, I don't enjoy fox in socks. I think Dr Seuss had a smirk on his face when he wrote that one.

But after every page, DS literally goes "heehee" (just that one heehee). Evil streak sneaking out!

We also love Mr Brown can Moo - and it's another in which I make a right royal fool of myself. MOO MOO BZZ BZZ COCKADOODLEDOO BANG BANG CHOO CHOO etc

development is a journey, not a race

The Hairy Mcs and all the Slinky Malinki's get a work out in out house, I think I've managed to get all of them.

The Tiger who came to tea and Mog the forgettful cat (known as bother that cat in our house) are also favourites. I manged to get awesome versions where the pages are board so they cant get ripped!

Old classics like My cat likes to hide in boxes, Hattie and the Fox, We're going on a bear hunt, Dear Zoo, various Grugs etc are we loved as well.

One favoruite is Harriet Dancing which I bought purely because of the name. I made the mistake of searching Harriet and Hattie on Book Depository and found a stack of books with DD's name in the title!

We also have a vast collection of Peppa Pig books but they aren't everyone's cup of tea biggrin.gif
