Edited to add - another big thing should be white jeans. I remember Kisma asking about them a few months ago on here!

And im now so glad I didnt buy any (although havent come across any) because im back to hating them. Almost time to wear white shorts though. Im still loving coloured denim, but havent bught any as yet.

Just wondering what everyone thinks of colored jeans?

I bought a lovely light blue pair from Crossroads the other day, can't wait to wear them. I did a double take when I first saw them in the store as I thought they were maternity jeans with the elastic bit at the top. But the lady told me they were JEGGINGS! I never thought I would wear skinny jeans, or tights, let alone JEGGINGS, but they are soooo comfy, plus no muffin top and the elastic is very forgiving on my mummy tummy! So yes, I am a fan now. smile.gif

Ive always disliked jeggings, but maybe I should try some on, no muffin top would be awesome.

Im like Ali, bidget is not stretching for many clothes purchases. Although I did buy three pairs of jeans off a lady on a FB selling page for $5ea, and Im sure she didnt wear any of them. All a perfect fit too which is odd for jeans, let alone ones I didnt try before buying.

Im contemplating doing some overseas buying in their summer sales, but im too scared as I really shouldnt be biying anyting at all lol.

I think jeggings would be fine, just so long as you don't wear them like you would ordinarily wear jeans. So with a long top or jumper is fine, just not with a crop top like all the teenagers seem to do wacko.gif

totally loving all the bright colours coming out! I bought a pair of green slim fit jeans from Katies. It's their ultimate fit pair and very comfortable. They were $10 off and I also had a $10 voucher, so even though we don't have much extra money at the moment I couldn't pass them up!

Also eyeing off all the coloured jeans Target have advertised this week. I want a blue pair.

And some very cute bright stripe shoes. Cause I can't resist stripes wink.gif

I'm at that awful inbetween stage at the moment - desperately want to update the wardrobe, but since I had Miles less than a month ago, I'm not really in the best shape to do it laugh.gif

My spring/summer wardrobe will all need to be breastfeeding friendly - which is okay for the most part, as I have plenty of tanks and cardys, but it's a little depressing too, because thee's so much stuff I like that I just couldn't BF in sad.gif

I'm quite liking the coloured jeans, I think they're fun, and given my abundance of black and white tanks, I wouldn't have too much trouble finding something to wear with them.
I looked up the Crossroads jeggings and I'm tempted - mainly because of the name laugh.gif My shopping will pretty much all need to be done online though, which again is hard with sizing issues. I think I'll be wearing lots of dresses!

A few online likes:
Dress
Pea Coat - could work for the cooler spring days
Skirt - I'm not normally a fan of anything 'mullet' but I don't mind this unsure.gif
Dress - I think I'd need to grow 6 inches for this to suit me, but I love the colour
Dress - I think this is a bit fun and different, but doubt the buttons would be functional
Dress - love this in the navy/cream
Dress - LOVE this. Want it in both. Wonder if it'd be stretchy enough to pull down over a boob laugh.gif

I'm sure the above demonstrates that I'm far from fashionable ... Who wants to revamp my wardrobe? ph34r.gif

I am also challenged fashion wise.

At 36 I am very wary of looking like mutton dressed as lamb, but have to be careful not to dress to nanna'ish.

I also have a yucky flabby tummy from my c-section (that lovely hanging apron) so have to be careful with what I wear.

I am 5"9.5 and a size 14.

Can anyone recommend some stuff for me for spring and summer?

Leapstar, the Katies ultimate fit jeans/pants have a nice suckem-in bit around the tummy, perfect for those bits of flab! Pretty sure they also come in different lengths also.

Gem - love that stripey dress from Portmans! I want it!

Why oh why do we not have any money at the moment!!!

I'm loving it too, Thelma! I can't bring myself to close the tab. I want it. In both colours. Surely after the amount of money I've spent on the kids lately I can indulge and buy myself a couple of dresses?
(I'm such a tightwad when it comes to clothes for myself that $60 on a dress is A LOT for me to spend on one item)

ETA - So I decided 'bugger it' and have ordered some clothes.

I've ordered the stripey dress in cloud/navy - love both, but prefer that colour.
Also got these in midnight, and this in blush and ink (I LOVE the other colour, but none in my size sad.gif).
Ordered some coloured tights to wear under black dresses/skirts too.

I'm the same. In my head, anything less than $50 is fine, but over that I start having troubles justifying it

I hear you, Thelma! I'm sure I'll get a fair bit of wear out of that dress though .. unsure.gif

If I had no reservations about the pricetag on clothes, I would go a little crazy on This Site. So much stuff I like!

I can't bring myself to spend money on clothes either. I live for sales and mostly buy off the reduced racks at the front on the stores.

I do love the myer sales though, where they have % off already reduced prices!!
