Because the only thing getting me through the rest of the Canberra winter is thinking about spring! I'm sure clothes will be hitting the shops soon as the Myer sale finished today. Anything y'all are on the lookout for already?

Aah swimmer shopping - fun hey rolleyes.gif I do love Seafolly though smile.gif though my latest fave pair are from Target of all places!

The trends I am hearing about are pastels - Forever New has already brought out some of their pastel spring range, white on white - think all the red carpet looks we have been seeing the last few months and florals - floral pants for sure.. oh and neon..

Hmm not sure how many of them I will buy into tongue.gif but I do love ladylike looks so some pretty pastels will fit in with my wardrobe.

I need some new black sandals - I have worn my last pair - black wtih gold studs to death. I am secretly hoping to find a similar pair again laugh.gif

Edited to add - another big thing should be white jeans. I remember Kisma asking about them a few months ago on here!

If I can get my winter pudge gone, I could be tempted to buy a pair... though with kids and a farm I am sure I am crazy laugh.gif

Just like I had no winter wardrobe, I have no spring or summer wardrobe either!!! I am really looking forward to the warm weather, but dreading having nothing to wear again and having to go shopping all over again. I just can't bring myself to look at warm weather clothing when it is so cold.

The birdsnest site did send me an email the other day with some inspiration outfits for spring, but again I can't bring myself to look at it while it is so cold.

I'm going to be either HUGE over summer, or getting rid of baby weight, so I suspect my entire summer wardrobe will be utterly unwearable.

Pastels looks *awful* on me - I have pale pale skin and they just don't work at all. Neon... hmmm....

I think I'll just stay out of the trends once more and scour the shops for things that suit me.

I've got one lovely print Jacqui-E dress from last summer than might accommodate a baby bump - it's one of the lovely ones that cross at the bust and then fall from the empire line in a bit of an a-line, but is stretchy. I like fitted maternity stuff rather than things that fall from the bump (which make me look like a cow of some variety biggrin.gif so I'll have to do quite a bit of searching through stuff I think.

Just like I had no winter wardrobe, I have no spring or summer wardrobe either!!!

Sounds like me - I dont have alot of winter clothes, and looking at my wardrobe I really have nothing for warmer weather too. Ive spent last season in maternity clothing and before that I was quite a bit smaller so nothing really fits anymore.

My problem is that I live in a rural area, so any major shopping is about 1.5 hours away and with 2 kids I really have no hope of having a lovely long shopping day.

This season I'll be doing the majority of it online. I'll also be getting a few extra pieces because we are holidaying next year (going from winter here to summer) so I'll need a little more. At least that how hubby believes it laugh.gif

Im on the hunt now for another pair of jeans, some cute tshirts and new underwear - DS is 5 months old and im a bit over wearing my maternity undies ph34r.gif

I can not wait until the weather starts to warm up.

I hope to get back into cute dresses this Spring/Summer, as I will no longer have to factor breastfeeding into the outfit. biggrin.gif

So far loving

I'm currently loving these two dresses

Polka Dot
Floral
Unfortunately we don't have any spare money for non-essentials at the moment so can't buy just yet sad.gif Hoping they'll have another % off type thing again soon and that they have them in stock still. But I still need to go in and try them on. They might look rubbish on me once I've actually got them on!

My sister (9 years younger) said she's very proud of me with my fashion buying lately biggrin.gif I used to pretty much only wear plains or stripes and I've now branched out to florals, laces, tunics with tights etc. I don't want to look like a boring Mum, I still want to look youngish!

Go you Ali! It gets easier the more you challenge yourself with new looks too.

I love that polka dot dress! Hope it goes on sale when your budget suits.

I picked up a cute crocheted lace black vest today - I think it will look so cute over dresses and tank tops for Spring.

Over the past few years I've built up a pretty decent spring/summer wardrobe. So I really don't need much. blush.gif

But, I'm really loving all these tops/dresses from Naudic. A friend of mine works in a shop that sells them and they are gorgeous.

So I'm thinking on splurging on one or two of these - just have to make up my mind which ones:

Ooh, I love that navy polkadot dress. With some funky scarlet accessories I think!

And that Naudic store, some of those would be perfect over the top of my new bathers I think, that pink one called 'Samba Jamaica' would be great.

So, what do you consider your summer/spring 'essentials'?

Target's 'Deal of the Day' today was 40% off handbags, clutches and purses. Mine's still good to go (usually get one each year in Boxing Day sales) but couldn't help myself with this for $13

Will be great for spring and autumn transitions I think.

Also decided to wear my first 'springy' outfit even though there's still another month of winter, it was so nice and sunny this morning!

Going for 'Princess Mary casual'! laugh.gif Top is short sleeve with a peter pan collar and horizontal pleating across the bodice with a floral pattern, too hard to see I think

From what I can see of it, I really like that top! Is it new? If so, please spill where you got it!

Was one of the ones I got from Myer in the sales. I did buy with the warmer weather in mind. It's by 'Quirky Circus', something in Miss Shop that looked far trendier in cut than anything I'd normally buy. (Which is usually polyester jersey from Target but I realised this hides the padding MUCH better wink.gif )

Nice score with the bag Windsor!

I LOVE the green cardi with that floral top, definitely fun, pretty and spring smile.gif

I like Quirky Circus - they have cool stuff that isn't too "young"

It was gorgeous spring like weather here - I am starting to look forward to strappy dresses etc

I did a blog update on my fave latest trend too smile.gif
