Hey ladies

BubbaThree How are you feeling? Night time sickness can't be fun! I bet that is difficult with two other little ones to run around after! Are you working as well? feel free not to answer my questions if you think that it may blow your cover laugh.gif

Lizzie That is really awsome about getting the early scans! I have a friend that teaches this and so from what I can gather it should be supervised by someone that knows what they are doing, so it should be fairly accurate, but as you said not going too strictly for that as a due date and it should be fine! and you even get paid and photos!! awesome! I could never quite understand why GP's wont send people for early scans.. I mean really it is not like it is going to cause any harm to the mum or baby, if anything it is going to give some reassurance, I just don't get why they are so thingy about it wacko.gif
I am glad that I am not the only one that was still testing ph34r.gif I have stopped now I promise! laugh.gif
I popped in to the Dr again yesterday, still coughing and not feeling 100% got today and tomorrow off work. I mentioned the cramping, and yep perfectly normal, as is lower back pain and stitch like feeling low in your tummy, just everything streching..

So I was wondering when you guys were going to tell people? I think I am going to tell my parents this weekend.. I know that it is super early but we are very close, so I want them to know regardless, the following weeks I am heading down to their farm on my holidays and we had all sorts of house renovation stuff planned, lots of that included painting/ staining etc inside and lots of oil based stuff.. I always get in and do all sorts of things there so they will wonder what is wrong with me! laugh.gif
Hubby's family have been difficult lately (well his parents anyway) So I hope that this will bring us closer together again we will probably tell them after our first scan..
Other close friends and family will probably be a little later..but I doubt that we will last to 12 weeks.. a few close friends know us too well and are already asking questions about fertility meds etc biggrin.gif

So I still don't think that I 'feel' pregnant, I feel crappy but I think that is mostly due to the bronchitis...Still doesn't seem real, how long does it take to sink in?

Hi to all of our visitors biggrin.gif x

Mrs AUSDK - I hope you get to come and join us soon!!! That would be brilliant if all of the May TCC could join us here!

Mindy - what a bummer that your still feeling unwell, I hope that you manage to get some rest on your days off and are feeling better soon.

As for telling people ph34r.gif I have already told my mum and my sister, but I normally tell them everything and they have sworn not to say anything. I really like having someone to be able to talk to about it!
Everyone else will have to wait, including my dad (parents are divorced) and my partners parents and siblings. DP wants to wait until the 12 weeks to tell everyone but I guess we'll wait and see. Like you Mindy we have some friends who knew that we were trying so I don't think the questions are too far away.... I'm not sure if I should lie? I feel bad but don't want to say anything just in case.... what to do!?!

Just this week I've started to feel really sick..... constantly eating to try and keep it at bay, but just sitting here at my desk I feel pretty crook.

As for the feeling pregnant thing.... I don't know, I'm still waiting. Maybe after the scan when you see something?

laugh.gif Hello resident stalker laugh.gif No ticker for me yet, to be honest I can't really work out my due date blush.gif with funky cycles and funky luteal phases it is just too hard laugh.gif ph34r.gif I will do one after our scan on the 7th of June..

See the thing is that previously 3 good friends have told me that they 'just knew' that they were pregnant.. and well I didn't 'just know'.. infact I nearly fell off the toilet seat when I saw that second line laugh.gif
They said that they 'felt pregnant'.. still the more I think of it the more I realize that they all fell pregnant first go so maybe it was just that early excitement and expectation of TTC that it will be easy..
over the 12 months that we were trying, I had more pregnancy 'symptoms' than you could poke a stick at.. clearly none of them were real.. wacko.gif rolleyes.gif And in the end i got used to the the thought that each month I wasn't pregnant..

I was thinking that combining the two may be better since there are only 4 of us, and that gives us the opportunity to have some more of our TTC ladies join us..

Lizzie My thoughts on telling people is that there are certain people in my life that I want to know regardless of the end result.. the are people that will support us no matter what and I think that that is important (to me). Plus those same people know that we are TTC so I am not keen on making up too many stories to ward off questions and I think that there is only so long that I can aviod them for laugh.gif

I'm going to join you very carefully....got the first BFP Monday and another Tuesday.

Got a doctors appointment Monday and will join you fully then if he gives me the all clear.

I think EDD is early Feb but since no Feb thread has been started and most TTC'ers I know are in here I thought I'd start in here. Hope that's ok.

The only reason I'm actually telling anyone besides hubby is because I have questions and I don't want to tell anyone yet and hopeing to keep it a secret till 12 weeks for everyone including family.

So here we go. A little bit about myself first for those who don't know me.

I'm 28 (29 in July) and hubby is 32 (33 in Oct). This is second bub for us. Our DD will be 3 in Aug. It took us 9 months to get this second BFP. I know that's nothing compared to other and I do feel lucky we managed in such a short time and only with help from a naturopath.

I'm a nervous wreck. The first trimester is so long and slow ph34r.gif I want to start feeling sick and get a tummy so I can relax a bit. Last time morning sickness kicked in at 5w6d so I still have almost 2 weeks till that starts!!

I've been having very strong pains in my lower abdomen. Mainly in the right side but also in the left. I had a bit last night and they woke me up once but mainly today. I can't remember if I had that with DD so can someone tell me if they had that too?.

My skin is also still pretty good. Last time it was a mess straigh away so of course I worry. I had a m/s almost 4 years ago so untill I reach that 12 weeks I don;t know how I will manage.
That's why I decided to join you....to tell someone about my worry and fear but also my joy. So exciting blush.gif

Aww...thanks MindyT blush.gif

BubbaTree - I have been feeling alright. Have sleept better the last two nights but I think that's because I haven't had to worry about getting up and taking my temp smile.gif

AFM - I feel fine. A few cramps and feel like AF is on her way but will do another test on Saturday just to see those two lines again. AF is due Friday.

I'm so glad you're talking about a bump already BubbaTree I have a DD who will turn 3 in Aug and I didn't start to really shwo till I was 20 weeks with her. I hope it happens much sooner this time. It will make it real too biggrin.gif
Lots of back pains for me too. Hopeing it's all positive and might have to POAS the next week to comfort myself tongue.gif

Morning ladies

Still feels very surreal that im back here again. However the worry of something going wrong has also kicked in. I really just want to be over these delicate few weeks andnot be stressing whenever i go to the toilet

I went to girls night out last night and ironically saw 'what to expectwhen your expecting', great movie. I struggled though to stay awake lol

I am already suffering back pain if i sit funny or if i lay on my belly. I had issues towards the end of my last pregnancy with it and looks like ill be having issues from word go this time, looks like more pregnancy massages for me this time

Morning Ladies biggrin.gif

BubbaThree I am glad that you had a better day yesterday. How funny that you already have a tummy laugh.gif so cute! I can't wait to get one too, though I suspect that I am a fair way off that!

Mrs AUSDK I have felt exactly like that since I got my BFP, mild cramps but exactly like AF is coming and lower back pain, though I think that mine has settled over the last couple of days, or maybe I am just not freaking out about them as much, my Dr said that is is totally normal, and it will get worse when it starts kicking you in wierd places laugh.gif laugh.gif

anotherbub it still feels surreal to me, though I think every day it gets a tiny bit more real, Hubby keeps forgetting too, the other day we took the dogs for a walk and he started mucking around on the oval and pretended to tackle me, and then freaked out because he remembered the baby laugh.gif laugh.gif I was more upset that he elbowed me in the boob and it really hurt! I find myself wishing these weeks away as well, just so that I know everything is ok..

Hey Lizzie smile.gif

Funny.. last night hubby came in when I was having a shower and said 'what happened to your boobs?!!' laugh.gif I have always been about a 10B max in the boob department, and now I am just squeezing them into my old bras, my nipples look funny as well..
so funny it is like I have someone elses boobs on laugh.gif
Still congested, coughing up stuff but feel better than I did so that is a good thing, I think that the congestion may hang around for a while..
Really looking forward to going on holidays only 6 shifts left at work and then I have 2.5 weeks off yay.
Hopefully I can avoid anyone finding out in those 6 days (being an ICU nurse there are certain patients I can't look after when pregnant) and when I get back from holidays I will be about 9 weeks so a bit more comfortable..

We have a 'viabilty' (heart beat scan) on the 7th of June, so only 15 days, and Just had a call from the FS my bloods that I had yesterday look perfect biggrin.gif biggrin.gif happy camper!
Have a good day ladies

Woo Hoo!!! Yay Mrs AUSDK!! wub.gif
This is what happens when I don't look in during the afternoon!!

I am soooo happy for you!!! Totally excited that there are more people from our May TTC group joining us! A massive congratulations to you - I'm looking forward to sharing this time with you!

I hope you girls don't mind, I finally figured out how to change the title of the thread and if your all happy to be we can now be a combined Jan/Feb group!

anotherbub4us I totally understand about the stressing - everytime I go to the loo I do a double check to make sure AF hasn't started.... Just incase I'm imagining it all! unsure.gif

BubbaThree so cute that you already have a tummy - I do have a tiny one but mine was already there before hand and is a little food baby ph34r.gif Hopefully the real baby will take over soon enough. I have been soooo bloated it's not funny and at night time it looks heaps worse, I'm just hoping that I look normal to everyone else though.

No ticker for me just yet as I don't know how far I am! I will put one in once I have the scan. Which is now on saturday! ohmy.gif Yep this staurday as the doctor changed their mind and is getting me one..... so fingers crossed we see something!

Mindy your hubby sounds really cute wub.gif I totally understand on the boobs thing.... mine are normally around a 12D so I'm not sure if they have grown much as yet, but my nipples are no longer mine! tongue.gif They are changing colour ph34r.gif and getting bigger unsure.gif ...... how can something so little change things so much already!!??

So should we create a list of all of us in this group? When you know your due date add it in!!
