Sounds like we are all having a little bit of success.

I went in to Just Jeans today looking for A pair of jeans.
I walked out with 3 pairs of jeans, 3 tops, 1 jumper, 1 belt, a necklace and a bracelet ph34r.gif huh.gif

I also got a couple of tops from Cotton on online the other day, so I should now have enough clothes to get me through the majority of winter. biggrin.gif

So I've now decided to give all stores a chance as you just never know what you might find. A few weeks ago I found a great sheer shirt, black with small white birds all over it, from Jay Jays!

That is so true. Because of the shop suggestions on here, I ventured into the Birdsnest website, then at the shops into Witchery, Gap and even DJ's. Not sure I would have ever ventured into any of them before that, and funnily enough it is where I got all my purchases so far from!!

I found myself a couple of bargain cardies yesterday - one is pink/silver/grey stripes, the other is black/navy/pink/purple stripes. They're not particularly thick, but they're warm enough, plus they'll go well over long sleeve tees.
They were only $5 each, so who cares anyway?! laugh.gif Big W kids department wink.gif Love that they go to a 16!
(And no, I can't really do them up at the moment - but I don't tend to do them up anyway)

Great shopping sjm smile.gif

Nice score on the cardies Gemma!

You guys are making my credit card twitch lol

Drom - oh nooooo, I so dont need to see that Alannah Hill sale! (but thank you tongue.gif)

Witchery has 30% off from 2-5pm today - I was going to head in but have changed my mind..

My mum gave me a gorgeous dress she just bought in the US - simple lines with a ribbon, in a soft charcoal digital pattern stripe. Perfect for winter with stockings! Love that my mum is still a size 8 and has great taste - very handy laugh.gif

I need a pair of elegant black ankle boots that aren't too high in the heel for a work trip I have coming up... anyone seen any good ones?

outfit for today - for some shopping with the kids... charcoal Portmans skinny jeans tucked into black ankle motorbike boots with plum coloured Metallicus long sleeved top and some black quartz earrings

I'm after some low-heeled ankle boots too, but haven't had much luck in my searches so far.

I have a taller pair of flat boots, but I wouldn't mind a pair of ankle boots for something quick and easy to slip on, that still look stylish wink.gif

I bought this top today, and I tried on some pants and a dress. I like the dress but it was a bit too 50s for work.

http://www.portmans..../viewall/654038

Today's outfit for shopping and general running around was dark blue Jeans West bootleg jeans, a pale pink Glassons cardi and grey patent leather and suede Ebay flats. The clothes are pre-baby and the shoes are ones my DH bought me as a surprise, I wub.gif them.

success on the shoe front for me!

IPB Image

I tried on these and another pair pretty much similar but that had slouchy wrinkled leather instead of the smooth style and buckle and I went with the slouchy ones (but couldnt find a pic of them)

but so comfy and just what I needed smile.gif

Nice shoes!!

The dress isn't actually on the website, it is very similar to this but in a grey tweed material.

And I've decided to go back and get this. Every September I promise myself a new coat the following year and every May I talk myself into wearing my old one. Well, not this May!

Today's outfit for grocery shopping and lunch and tea with friends is the same jeans and shoes as yesterday, a long black Kmart singlet and a burgundy Cue knit top. I might even put on earrings and do my hair to go out tonight, going all out. ph34r.gif
