Hi Girls,

Well I've been putting off starting this thread until I've seen my GP, but with my appointment this afternoon, I just can't wait anymore! tongue.gif wub.gif

I got my lovely 2 lines on Monday and I've been floating on air ever since! I'm hoping there's some other lovely mums to be out there who will join me on this journey as well!

I'll be joining you too! I totally understand the hesitation in starting this thread though smile.gif

I'm due November 26, and had my first bloods taken on Tuesday (which were really good). Had some very light spotting that evening, which freaked me right out, but so far things are ok. I have another blood test scheduled for tomorrow - nervous! I haven't done a POAS since Monday - even though I have one sitting there! I got my first uber-faint line last thursday wub.gif

How are you both feeling so far?

Hi Girls,

I'm so glad that there is already a couple of other mummies in here! I was starting to worry that there wasn't any around! sad.gif

L's Mummy - Sorry to hear you've been bleeding! Hopefully your scan yesterday showed all was OK tho! It's so strange that sometimes our body doesn't play nicely! Based on the first day of my LMP I'm due 21 November smile.gif I've got my first GP appt this afternoon though, so I'm sure I'll find out more then!

SmallMiracle - Yes I was hesitant about starting a thread - I didn't want to jinx myself! But then in saying that, I really want some support around this very unknown journey, & so I didn't want to wait any longer! Not many of our close friends have children yet, and noone apart from hubby knows I am pregnant so it's hard not having anyone to talk to about it! I feel like I'm abit behind, as I didn't find out until about 4-5 days after AF was due, so havn't had a chance to get to any bloods or anything until now, but it's kinda good as I'm already a little bit along & I've only just found out! haha. Sorry to hear you've also had a bit of bleeding, but I think we all know that thats quite common in early pregnancy, so hopefully thats all it is! Fingers crossed your results are good tomorrow!

AFM - I've been feeling pretty good! I've noticed my boobs have already gotten a little bigger, and they are quite veiny. My skin has also had a nice little breakout which is not nice sad.gif. Have had some faint twinges/cramping pretty much on & off all day since a couple of days before my positive - I'm hoping it's nothing to worry about & just some stretching pains. Not really feeling any nausea yet - although I'm finding I'm feeling a little 'flat' of an afternoon. Hubby thinks its cos I'm not drinking enough water & might be a little dehydrated - even though I'm trying to drink at least 4 glasses a day. I'm also feeling quite heavy & bloated in my stomach - its not a nice feeling!

Looking forward & anxious for my GP appt this afternoon though!

Should we start a due dates list?

Why not?? smile.gif

I'm on my phone so won't struggle with it now, but can do it later once I'm home.

I've had stacks of symptoms, but I'm on progesterone support, so that would be why. I've had at least a 2 hour nap each day!! Bit worried that the nausea has already started though!

With the water, you need to have a massive amount - at least 8 glasses, and some sources say up to 12 when pregnant. Your body is working extra hard, and making lots more blood smile.gif I've found that my cramping is more noticeable if I haven't had enough water.

I take it this is #1 BB? And #2 for you L's mummy? This is our first wub.gif

Good luck for your appointment!

** Stalker alert **

Just wanted to pop in and say congrats ladies. My October MG is a little slow so I'll probably stalk you a bit biggrin.gif.

Babybelle, the cramping is totally normal. It freaked me out first time with DD too, but unless it's actually painful, then I'd try not to worry too much.

Thanks SmallMiracle. Yes I had read that extra water was a must - didn't realise it was so high though! I struggle just getting 4 glasses in, so I really need to make an effort to have more! I just feel full & bloated all the time, so it's hard putting more fluid in! No good you hav had nausea already! What other symptoms have you been feeling?

Ls mummy - how r you feeling??

Yes this is #1 for us wub.gif.. although we already have 2 furbabies tongue.gif

Sakorsha - Thanks for popping in smile.gif I have a feeling that this thread will only stay small, so would be lovely to have some extra chatter smile.gif Yeh the cramping isnt painful at all really... kinda feels like I need to go to the toilet blush.gif... & I notice my tummy is grumbling lots more! hehe

Here's a little list for us.. hopefully we get some more in here soon as well:)

Yay another lady for our November group! wub.gif

Yes this is my second biggrin.gif

Babybelle - I think it's around 8 glasses of water a day too. I struggle with 5 to be honest and did with my DD too. Just try have as much as you can. It's also hard because the more you drink the more you need to pee haha. And I am peeing A LOT!
Cramping and tinges are very normal, your uterus is doing major construction work at the moment. As long as it's nothing more than period pain, and no bleeding with it. I had a fair bit of cramping when pregnant with DD. So don't stress hun smile.gif
Good luck at your appointment, be sure to let us know how it goes!

SmallMiracle - Booo about the nausea already!! I remember getting it about 6 weeks with DD, I havn't got it so far (fingers crossed). 2 hour naps sound lovely, I wish I could manage that but DD would never let me tongue.gif I suppose I could when she sleeps but I like to catch up on the internet/eat then haha. With the bleeding it could possibly be implantation? Or just like me, for some reason it's happening but it's normal. But I wish it wouldn't happen all the same! It's good it's only been a little, mine is every day and every time I go to the toilet sad.gif

AFM - Just had the weird bleeding/spotting, ALWYAS hungry, bloated mega and my face looks like a pizza hehe.
I just got home from a Dr appointment to discuss the scan I had last night. All seems like a normal pregnancy and they couldn't find anything that would be causing the bleeding. I had more bloods taken today to check HCG levels so will get them back tomorrow. I've had three lot's of HCG level bloods done so far, and all have come back perfect. So I'm not sure what my body is playing at. No cramping at all though, just a few tinges. So hopefully all goes well.

Oooo I have two furbabies too wub.gif

Sakorsha - Thank you for stopping by smile.gif When in October are you due?

L's Mummy - 2nd April - Dating Scan
SmallMiracle 12th April - 1st Scan

Just received my early pregnancy handbook from my doctor - doesn't really contain anything I didn't already know, but it's nice to have. They were meant to book me for an early scan, but it looks like I need to wait 3 Weeks! Torture!! My symptoms have been fluctuating, again due to the meds, but generally a bit of nausea after I wake up, super sensitive to smells, moody ph34r.gif , Sore ish breasts, and exhaustion. Plus a large dose of anxiety thrown in, but I'm trying hard to work on that!

Welcome Sakorshka, the more the merrier!!

Thanks Windsor wub.gif

So unless you're worried about giving yourself away, where is everyone from? I'm in Melbourne smile.gif

Hi girls,

So just got back from my Dr & all seems pretty good so far. He didn't see the need to do a urine test in the clinic given how strong my other ones were but has sent me for bloods tomorrow morning. Trouble is its a Friday so I'll have to wait until Tuesday to get results sad.gif altho on the plus side il be another week by then and half way thru 1st trimester! At least when things r spread out the time might not drag as much - here's hoping anyway! Hehe laugh.gif
I also got my referral for an obs. I kinda had 2 obs in mind, one who one of my besties had and another a girl from work had... He was pretty against me going with the one but the other one he said is who he would have recommended to me out of them all and so I was very happy with that. I think my bestie will be happy we picked the same as her hehe.
So iv gotta ring up tomorrow and schedule an appt.

I don't want to give too much away, so I'll just say that I'm from the east coast of NSW smile.gif. Most ppl won't know me anyway but I'm more worried about someone stumbling across this thread & recognizing me - small chance I know, but not worth the risk!

I tell u what, the peeing thing has definitely kicked in now - think iv probably wee'd about 15 times today!!!

SmallMiracle - 3 weeks ohmy.gif That really sucks. How come so far away? Oh I hear you on the moods tongue.gif I have no patience with DD atm, and hubby! haha Don't get me started.

Babybelle - I am glad your appointment was a positive one! And you're right, spreading it out will make it go quicker hehe. Good theory anyways! Peeing is darn annoying hey!

I am from Tasmania smile.gif

Was everyone's bubby planned?

Yep, ours was. Wev been trying since November so I suppose we're pretty lucky that we fell on my 4th cycle. We got married at the end of 2010 and were going to start trying straight away but for a few reasons we waited a little longer... So we r definitely glad to finally be on this journey!

Babybelle - That's great. Hubby and I got married September 2008. We were planning on trying later this year but decided to try sooner rather than later. So we only started trying in January, and fell last month. With our DD it took us 9 months to TTC.
