Hello - I totally agree. I was originally engaged years ago and I-Do was definitely busier! After a few trials and a break up we are back together, engaged in Vanuatu this January and getting married 5th April 2013! Yay!

So far we have the engagement ring - he designed it, I so love it! I recently paid a deposit on a wedding dress and we've paid the deposit on our wedding ceremony/reception venue.

Not sure how to post pictures, so I need to work that out. We're getting married in less than a year! Woo hoo!

Hi
I'm getting married in September 2012 and been engaged to my partner of 7 years since july 2011.
planning is really kicking into full swing now.
Recently had my appointment with the florist which I'm really excited about. I found and ordered my gown September last year along. We're getting married in a renovated woodshed in country Victoria. So we're having a rustic, romantic garden wedding with a bit of DIY thrown in.

No wedding plans for me yet, but I love seeing it all coming together.

We are throwing a couple of ideas around, maybe May 2014 or possibly elope to vegas!

If you elope in May 2014, I'm coming for a holiday! That's the month of my 30th wink.gif Plus there's no harm in having a flowergirl and page boy at a wedding even if you're eloping, right? smile.gif

Sariele, I am the same as you, I remember the older days, every weekend there would be someone getting married, and always beautiful planning pics to drool over. 14th of april is sneaking up!

Honeybunch, if you have no plans, would you be interested on going on Don't Tell the Bride if you're Sydney based?

We give your husband-to-be and his best man $25,000 to organise the entire day. I'm on trohr@sstar.com.au if your interested.

Hi All, my name is Kerrianne and my fiance and i have been engaged for 1 1/2 yrs. We get married on the 6th October 2012 - 79days left!! biggrin.gif

I have everything organised now. We are having the ceremony at a historical house, it was built in the 1800's and im so inlove with the house i cant wait to see the photos once they are done.... Then off to The Catholic Club in my local area for the recpetion. Their food is awesome and a few friends have had their recpetions there and rave about how amazing it was, so im so excited..... but getting nervous too.

Im having trouble picking the music for the ceremony and entrance into the reception if anyone has any ideas that would be great wacko.gif

Good luck with everyone's wedding.

Thanks,
Kerrianne

Hi Gals,

U can include me on your getting married list smile.gif

Finally got the proposal last month. No dates have been set but probably looking at Apr or June next year.

Honeybunch - Vegas is so tempting to us. Like u this is wedding No.2 so the less fuss the better is my feeling.

However in reality we are looking at a wedding and H2B's home town or a destination wedding in Bali.

Hi All,

I recently got engaged, and we are planning our wedding for 2014, around September. We have already a really good idea of a venue, near Mount Tamborine, Albert River Wines. We are going to have a mid week wedding, to help with the costs, and I like the idea of being a little different.

So we, and when I say we I mean me (LOL), are at the start of the planning process, but I have so many ideas on eveything, thanks to Pinterest. So much so, that the hard part will be narrowing them all down.

Please feel free to ask for my opinion, as I worked as a Wedding Supervisor, at a 5 star resort on the Gold Coast, for almost 5 years (over that time I could estimate I supervised well over 150 weddings). So I have seen alot of things and have a basic understanding of what works well, and what doesnt work so well, at weddings.

Kind Regards,
One eXcited Bride xoxo
