I think I might be first cab off the rank for this month wub.gif

After a BFN last month I got a beautiful Christmas Eve surprise after testing positive at around 10DPO this month with an internet cheapie POAS getting increasingly darker every day.

After I was instructed to buy a test that shows either a "PREGNANT" or "NOT PREGNANT" window for hubby so he can know for sure before celebrating (I now know why they call it LayMAN's terms!) I took one this morning and here are the results wub.gif

IPB Image

It's reading about 2-3 weeks since conception which puts us at about 4w3d along (since my LMP). I'll probably stay ANON for the time being but I just wanted to say welcome to all you other September Sugarplums - I can't wait to go on this amazing journey with you in 2012 smile.gif

Huge CONGRATS milkandhoney! What a lovely Christmas present!

My DH was the same when I showed him my "internet cheapie"! Admittedly it was 4:30am, but still, he was not convinced until I did a FR later in the day (and a CB digital a few days later!)

I was just thinking yesterday that the September thread would be popping up soon. Feel free to join the August thread while you are waiting for others to join you though.

Thank you LJ I was just peeking in there earlier to remind myself of the early pregnancy symptoms so I might just do that! Congratulations on your test, yes mine was an internet cheapie too (I think worked out to be around 11c a test) but I'll grab a digi one today then hopefully we'll 'know' for sure!

All the best for your pregnancy journey what a fabulous 2012 for us all smile.gif

Well hi there...

Guess who had a lovely little new years eve surprise! Needless to say the evening was far more tame than expected - no bubbles for me! Hubby and I are cautiously optimistic, as we only have a faint BFP...will try another test today and report back. We were planning on TTC in January but it looks like this little one couldn't wait!

Congratulations milkandhoney...what a lovely way to start the new year. Here's to a beautiful 2012. xx

Hi ladies, I hope you don't mind if I join you. BFP on the 30th, estimating about the 5th Sept. Very excited!

I haven't been on the forum for ages and I've already told my July 2010 mummies group so no need for an anon for me biggrin.gif

Big congrats milkandhoney and bubbalove!! I'm looking forward to sharing the journey with you smile.gif

Welcome Nic, congratulations on your BFP!

Thank you ladies for the lovely messages of support wub.gif

After 4 consecutive days of testing, with the line getting slightly darker each day it is starting to sink in that this is actually happening, and our DS will be getting the little brother or sister that he has been asking for.

I've booked an appointment with my GP on Thursday...will try to hold off till then to call my Obs, hopefully she will be available in September, no holidays booked etc...I really dont want to have to search for another OB!

Time to go look for a ticker, I guess! Looking forward to meeting some more September mummies!

I hope to see you joining us shortly too, that would be wonderful! wub.gif

bubbalove, your news and mine read so similarly! We both had "eve surprises" with our increasingly darker BFPs. So happy for you that you got such a nice surprise before your official TTC date kicked off you're very lucky! Some women take a very long time to conceive so well done. I was concerned as I am still BF my son we were going to give it 2 more shots before DH was going to force me to wean as he has strong beliefs that it is too difficult to conceive while BF. I was just as delighted by proving him wrong as I was with the wonderful BFP we got laugh.gif And after 1 less (active) attempt than we made with our first born. How old is your DS by the way??? He sounds a bit older than ours since he can talk... I'd like to say mine asked for one because I have a video of him saying he wants a "Bubby" when I ask what he wants from Santa, but in reality he says "Bubby" when I want him to say "Mummy" but I'll stick with the cuter notion that this was what he asked for. What did you do for NYE instead? Yes, it's going to be a Beautiful year indeed.........

MissNic we too have similar news in that we are due on almost the same day! NO guesses what WE were both doing about 3 weeks ago laugh.gif Your son and mine look to be about the same age, so it's nice that we will have some similar stories to tell about our sons turning 2 around when both our new additions make their way into our worlds wub.gif

I have an appt. with my GP on Friday but Obs won't see me till 31st Jan as she likes to do a scan at our first appt. so likes to wait till approx. 9wks pregnant when there is more to see. We are going away on holiday with our family 2 weeks later so I am hoping she will let me have my 12wk scan as early as possible, hopefully 11wks as we would like to share our news with family when we see them... coincidently in the same holiday destination as we told them about our first born! We can't wait to finally share the news with all our family & friends...

Any pregnancy symptoms so far? I'm just feeling 'hungover' all the time... a bit of indigestion but nothing that a nice cold glass of MILK can't fix ......................

Hi ladies, wondering if I can join in?

Was wonderfully surprised to see my BFP yesterday! My EDD going off my LMP is 12/09/12!

Going anon until 12 weeks! Though will/are telling immediate family only!

Very excited! Will make an appt with my dr to get bloods done and get the ball rolling for finding an obs!

Hi all, thought I would join in the group, albeit rather tentatively at this early stage.

Got my lovely second pink line yesterday wub.gif and my EDD going by my LMP would be 18 September.

I am feeling rather nervous about it, much more so than I remember being last time around, not sure why, but it means for now I just feel like I need to wait and see what happens IYKWIM.

I will book in with my GP for bloods some time this week.

Hi Ladies,

Do you mind if I join? I am an anon and won't be revealing until 12 weeks but a few people have already guessed correctly so I seem to be a pretty sucky anon! I got my first BFP on Friday and have been madly testing since. I took a clearblue test yesterday and it said 3+ but my last period was 9 December so that only makes me 4 weeks 2 days.

I have my first GP appointment on Wednesday, this is our first pregnancy and I have no idea what I am doing blush.gif Wednesday is taking it's time though!
