Good luck this week Gretch! Hoping you go on your own and don't need your induction. I know how frustrating it is going over. I ended up having DD at 41 weeks and went into labour spontaneously but my midwives were talking about letting me go to 43 weeks, providing she was happy in there. I was considering induction prior to that though because I was done physically and mentally. I know every day feels like a million at this point.

I also think the chiro got things moving for me too!! Good luck love thinking of you all the time and just think he will definitely be here by this time next week wub.gif

I will add my secret Gretch - both of my girls were brought on by walkig up and down steps at a local beach. This was after I lost my plug both times too. I did 5-10 sets of the steps, about 50-60 steps each time, in a workout like pace. Both times I was in labour within 12-24 hours laugh.gif. First time I strated with contractions, second time as you know my waters broke and contractions happened 2-3 hour later. Good luck! (hugs)

Oh WOW Gretch!!!!!!!!!!!

I am over the moon for you - so glad to hear that your experience was better than the first time smile.gif

Can't wait to hear more from you!!

Congratulations, I'm so happy for you wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

And welcome little baby G - I hope you have lots of warm cuddles with your mummy and daddy and big brother T!

And seeing as we will now formally move to the June 2012 mother group thread, I just want to say that I have really enjoyed my journey with you wonderful ladies. Online forum or not, I appreciate the support and kindness you have extended (perhaps I am feeling all fuzzy today because I'm having a good day with Ana and she is looking especially adorable today!), and it really did make my pregnancy more enjoyable.

I hope to continue this with you for years to come.

Ok, mushiness over!

Thanks all - so sweet Anh! I will hopefully do up a proper birth story when I get home, but in a nutshell my waters were broken and I didn't need the drip! Established labour was only around an hour. G was 9lb11 and only a first degree tear - my obs and midwife were fantastic.

Despite a more positive experience, I'm definitely done with pregnancy and birth!

Looking forward to posting about G in the June Mums thread (even though he missed the cut-off!).
