Congratulations shallots! Lucky you going to the US for a holiday - hopefully the morning sickness remains manageable for you.

To add a ticker you just go to one of the ticker sites and in your 'My Controls' section, go to edit signature and paste the code there.

Shallots- Welcome and congrats!! I will add you to the list. Lucky you going on a holiday, have fun. I hope the MS holds off. Some people just don't get it like me. Third pregnancy still no MS.

Told many people- My sister, mum and best friend know. James'(DH) mum and sisters know (which I am not happy about). We will tell everyone after the 12 weeks scan.

Sarah2010- I am sorry I just realised I didn't haveyou on the list will add you.

Words of wisdom- Hmmm not really, go with the flow, try to be organised, housework will be there tomorrow if you are having a bad day. I followed Zacks routine and fit Ashton around it as I didn't want Zack thinking he was missing out on stuff because of Ashton and it seemed to work. I believe a little bit of tv won't hurt them as long as it is not all day. I also try to get out every day with the boys for both my and the boys sanity. I really see the difference when the boys haven't been out and about, even if its just down the street for a few minutes (but I do live in the country where the street is a few blocks away too with no target, big w or anything like that so it is easy). I don't know how I am going to be able to do it with 3 kids though. I am going to have to buy a pram that can hold Ashton and bub and Zack walk next to me.

ME- I am going to my oldest friends wedding this weekend and very excited. I feel fine I am lucky and never have had any morning sickness. I am so tired though. SO much I think it is extreme, I was never this tired with the boys and I was working then. I am going to mention it to the dr I see on Tuesday.

lena - Have fun at the wedding. The fatigue sounds horrible - I hope it eases up for you soon.

Delicious - I've started thinking a little bit about what we will need to buy second time around as well. The only big things we will need are for our bigger baby - they will need a new carseat and a bed. I don't don't that anything was really a must-have (apart from my boobs really!).

I went to the gp today and she's sent me for the regular blood work which I'll probably get done Saturday morning. I've also got a referral for my obs so will have to call his office soon too.

Thought I'd pop in since I'm on hold with Q@ntas (for over 40 mins!!)........

Full on MS has held off so far, just constant feeling of nausea for anywhere between 5 to 10 hours a day... Hopefully it's as bad as it will get, fingers and toes crossed! I've found boiled eggs or milk helps a bit with the tummy and feeling of reflux.

Am also feeling really tired, but am fumbling through work ok at the moment. I keep rubbing my stomach (DH keeps pointing it out to me!) so I have to be careful smile.gif

Home skillet - ticker in sig, thanks. How are you feeling at the moment?

Lena - we've told my mum and dad - mumm blabbed to my brother straight away (and he lives in London mind you!). We're going to tell DH's mum and dad tonight, but with instructions not to tell DH's sister until we have passed the 13 week mark or so. I'm not convinced she will keep quiet though...

Delicious - are you physically sick all day long?? That sounds terrible!

I'm not feeling too bad although I have definitely been nauseous at times throughout the day. I didn't feel like this at all last pregnancy so maybe it's different gender (excpet I think that might just be an old wives' tale?).

We ended up telling MIL the other night and I told my mum today. Neither seemed very happy which is a bit disappointing sad.gif . I did have a bit of a rough time last pregnancy so maybe they are just worried, I don't know. mellow.gif

Home Skillet- My mother was the same she hasn't even asked when I am due or mentioned it again since I told her. I am very hurt.I know she is worried but ignoring this baby hurts! Mum and I are so close and I don't think she has ever hurt me so much.

How is everyone else?

I am exhausted after the wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and the bride was stunning! Although I have done nothing but sleep all day and am still tired. I am to old for these late nights LOL!

Glad to hear you enjoyed the wedding lena; I hope you've managed to catch up on some sleep.

Sorry to hear you've been so sick Delicious, hopefully it won't last too long.

I made my obs appointment today but couldn't get in until December - seems like a long time away. He was already nearly booked out for June as well so I'm lucky to get in at all I think.

My mum apologised for her reaction the other day which was nice (and unexpected - apparently she told Dad what she said to me and he had a go at her!). I wasn't going to make a drama out of it but I'm relieved the air is cleared.

I've had a few crampy pains down one side, usually of a night after dinner? This pregnancy feels so different from last time, but I didn't even know I was pregnant till 6 weeks then so it makes sense I guess!

Hope everyone is well smile.gif

Baby-makin- Of course you can pop your head into our little group. Welcome and congrats!!

Delicious- Sorry to hear you are so sick, hope it passes soon.

AFM- Had my dr appointment today, he is checking everything, I had 8 viles of blood and 2 urine samples plus my flu vax. I also had decided I wasn't going to lie to get a date scan as I only have 3-4 weeks to wait for my NT scan but he told me he wanted me to have one so I am booked in for one tomorrow at midday. So all that scamming I had done, I didn't have to biggrin.gif . I have made my appointment with my ob for the 29th Nov. When did your dr say was best to have your 12 week scan? I know wit is between 11 and 14 weeks but do you think its ok to have it at 11.3 weeks. I wanted to try get it in before my obs appointment and I will be 12 weeks exactly then she is going away so I had to have it then.

8 viles of blood Lena - that is massive!!!! Hooray for an early scan smile.gif I am not sure about the timing of the scans. I am doing shared care with my GP and I have to see him in 3 weeks to get the referral for the NT scan. 12 weeks for me falls the week before Christmas!

Home Skillet - I am glad your mum is being more receptive! We haven't told our families yet. As for pains - I get them a little bit but just figure everything is stretching and growing.

Delicious - hope you are feeling better!!! I am thankful that I only get nausea on and off and no vomitting!!!

AFM had bloods today. It is still surreal.

I am getting my scan done on the 17th November which puts me at 13 weeks I think. I worry it is a bit late but if it is I can ring and change it.. I will make that decision after I see my obstetrician tomorrow as he will look at baby on his scanning machine.

But I believe anywhere between 11-13 weeks is the optimum range, I would worry having it so close to 11 weeks though that baby could be too small to see everything and you will be asked to come back later to re-do it which would mean re-doing the bloods too. Icky....

But I can understand why you would want to do it when you are looking at getting it done with your doctor going away.

delicious - i hope you are feeling better soon xx I am still struggling with nausea, it is at its worst when I have to change Master A's stinky bottom. Blerg... I feel myself go green when I see him filling his nappy. So not nice! Other than that my nausea has really slowed down.. so I am definitely ending the first trimester soon. I am starting to get a little more energy too - by the end of the day I am not completely exhausted just feeling a little tired.

HS - I am glad that your Dad told her off. It obviously made her see the error of her ways and it was very nice she apologised. As for us with telling people we are getting ready to start telling people now. We told most people at 11 weeks with Master A, and I am in week 11 now. I know most people wait until the NT Scan but we agreed with the last pregnancy that we would keep our baby no matter the results so this time is no different. I am keen to get the news out and see what reaction we get. I know it will be mixed with Alex being so young still and I want to get the negativity out of the way. I am partly dreading it..... I'm still not overly excited about telling people. I just see it as a bit of a ritual I suppose. But I am starting to show a bit now so I won't be able to hide it for long. smile.gif I don't enjoy showing so early though! So many of my clothes don't fit already!!!!! I need to go out and find some nice summery dresses soon. I might scour ebay for some maternity shorts and cotton slacks. Jeans are too thick in summer sad.gif

The only other update for me is I am craving lebanese cucumbers and tuna sandwiches. I can't stop eating them!!!!!!!!!!!!! tongue.gif

Have a good week, I am away for work again after tomorrow afternoon so I will try and update when I am in Brisbane the next few days. x

What a horrible day. Drove the hour with Ashton to have my scan went to the wrong place they have moved had my scan. The ultrasound tech says she wants me to see my dr before I go home and to come back in 30 minutes hopefully the results will be back by then. Results didn't come back till 1.50 so went to see the dr (they couldn't get me in to see my ob). I have a hematoma, and it is quite big. He said it could mean I will miscarriage or it could fix itself I have to wait and see. So I don't feel the best at the moment, rather teary and scared. I don't want to loose the baby. I hate waiting. I wish I didn't have a scan sad.gif

Good to hear from you Sarah, hope you enjoying Brisbane (although as it's for work, maybe not so much?!?)

Sounds like a crappy day lena. I hope everything is ok. I know that there are a few people on the boards who had haematomas in pregnancy - maybe start a thread/do a search to see if you can find some info. Thinking of you xxx

I'm feeling very ordinary today. Ongoing metallic taste in my mouth and quite queasy. I think my breasts are getting bigger too but it's hard to tell as I'm still breastfeeding my toddler and I'm still wearing the same maternity bras I bought over two and half years ago!

Home skillet- and more lately. I have no idea why.

Delicious- It is a very small group. July 2012 group has started now aswell I saw. I originally wanted to have a September baby this time but I couldn't wait that long to ttc laugh.gif . So I decided on a May baby but we didn't fall first month so June it is which is actually better than May as many of my IL's are born May.

AFM- I am still very nervous, checking multiple times a day to see if I have started bleeding yet. Still no sign of blood. I hope it has gone by my 12 week scan. I have booked it for the 25th Nov and very nervous about it. I am trying to take it easy and not lift much but it is hard with a 15 month old I have to lift him.

I just made mini quiches for lunch bc I was craving them went to put them in the oven and droppped them, they went everywhere all over the oven door and immediately started cooking as I had been preheating the oven and all over the floor. Disaster!

I didn't have a preference for a month - we were expecting it to take a lot longer so hadn't really thought about it! June works well though, no other family have birthdays then. I had a summer baby first time so if we do have one if the same gender lots of the clothes I've kept will be useless I guess.
