And on the winners podium in the 'unlikely threads started by Puggie' division we have "The New 2.5 Men".

lolz biggrin.gif

My twitter feed was going mental with 2.5 men talk this morning. I've never been a fan of the show but I don't mind a bit of the old Ashton blush.gif

Better than I thought it would be but still complete shit IMO.

I loathe Ashton Kucher - he always seems to play the same character - no matter what he's in!

I can't see it working for long without Charlie Sheen.

My thoughts exactly. Did you watch the sheen bashing show on a bit later?? Cringe, terrible terrible show.

YES! My first thought was they'd hired Ashton Kucher to play... Ashton Kucher. But as Charlie Sheen was playing Charlie Sheen, I could hardly criticise.

Just as funny as the Sheen version. And by that I mean tired and stale.

As to the Roasting... wacko.gif I don't know how anyone could laugh about some of the stuff they were saying. Domestic violence is now funny as the two parties involved are both on TV laughing about it?! Hollywood at its sickest.

You see - I always found Charlie Sheen's humour to be slightly self deprecating whereas, to me, Kucher just came across as a young something who has never really done anything. The funny part about Sheen was that he was an OLDER something who has never really done anything!

Embarking on a life of debauchery is no where near as amusing as anecdotes from an established hedonist!

Now they're just flogging a dead horse IMO.

I'm so glad I didn't watch the roasting. I would've thrown my tv in the pool ph34r.gif DV is definately not funny and I cant believe anyone, especially the victim, could possibly laugh at it.

ETA: I did watch the new episode and found it quite bland but I still have visions of an exploding meat balloon in my head.

Been doing that for a while IMO tongue.gif

And the Roasting was like a train wreck, just couldn't change the channel. Gobsmacked at some of the things that were said. I hope their (combined) children never ever see it.

You might have a point - to be fair it's not a show I regularly watch!

Ironing AND 'Two and a Half Men' - that's quite a nightmare combo.

I'd rather iron than watch it. I wanted to watch Tony Martin's new show on Nine but recorded it when I saw what it was sandwiched in between.
