Hi, was just wondering if it was a literal thing to trash the dress, or if some people still cleaned it afterwards.
I have seen some amazing photos of TTD, so I wondered if any one else had the experience and if they actually cleaned the dress for keepsake afterwards or whether it was just binned.

I am not sure I could part with it, so I was after some other ladies thoughts on the issue. blush.gif

Thanks Kristi, I just love the idea, but I think I am a little bit a scaredy cat, and have seen some amazing water photos... That's me :-)

My friend had some amazing pictures taken in a water fall and lake for her TTD. After she was done, her dress was cleaner than it had been after the wedding day! She had it dry cleaned and sold it immediately afterwards, no worse the wear.

If you choose something like that, it should be fine.

We did ocean shots for ours so it only got sandy and wet. No harm done.

I trashed mine, but just with water. It cleaned up fine (actually after our wedding day it was far dirtier than after the trashing!)

We had a blast wearing our wedding gear again and love our photos.

It's not for everyone - but I loved it wub.gif

You'e photos are amazinf, I think I am looking foward to it the best, and FH thinks it is great idea too. Thinking water and maybe the beach is the way to go, I think I would be a little scared to TRASH trash it.

You should talk to Goodgirl! She took to hers with a pair of scissors and the photos and video shoot looked incredible.

I've been wanting to TTD since I got married five years ago and am hoping after my second child I can fit back into it again because it's still a dream of mine. I guess it's incentive. tongue.gif
