Weeds - it got too weird.
Masterchef - I miss watching just normal old cooking shows without drama, without having to wait until the ads are over to find out who won etc.
Neighbours - Hardly ever watch it these days and when I do I wonder why I bother!

I agree with all of these.

I'm also not so sure about the latest series of Bones but I'll continue to watch and hope for the best.

The Block is wearing very thin. I TIVO it now and probably only watch 10 minutes of it all together.

And I never thought I'd day it but Grand Designs isn't really doing it for me anymore and I adored that show.

I used to love So You Think You Can Dance - in fact, I still do, but it's way too much of a time commitment to watch - 2.5 hours or something a week, and I only get an hour or two to watch TV every week, so I had to completely let that one go sad.gif so sad, because I love the dancing and the choreography.

I totally love love that show and so does DH. It used to be the highlight of our week TV wise bring on the next season.

I was never into them but im really really over adult cartoons I mean how many episodes of the simpsons can they play and futurama arrggggh get it off not to mention the family guy booooring

Good News Week. I think it feels too scripted these days.

Liz I think it was bad from the time it came back on Ten. They should have left it be when it finished on ABC. A once a week news commentary in a world that now has a very short turnover for the 24 hour news cycle, was just never going to ht the mark. It's sad really, it was great when I was growing up in the 90's.

I still love Masterchef wink.gif Recording it all and watching it in delay with liberal use of the FF button makes it all that much more bearable.

Me too, thank god for things on the hard drive. Also, I missed the majority of last season (being overseas for a six week chunk right in the middle of the season), and I think that's helped sustain my affection for this season, but next year will be something all together different I suspect.

This is me also. And I'm quite sad about it all, but I think it's because the host is doing less hosting and more editorial comment this season. I'd like him to present the houses, not tell me how much he dislikes them!

Me too. I loved both shows, but the last season of each didn't hook me.

I am also over Masterchef and the million and one spin off cooking shows.

Gossip Girl - the first couple of seasons were a guilty pleasure but I stopped watching a couple of episodes into the third season and never went back.

Desperate Housewives - Like micha, I was surprised to read that it's finishing soon because I couldn't believe it was still going! The first season was pretty good but the characters became annoying and their motivations for their actions increasingly abhorent.

Boardwalk Empire - all the hype, plus my usual love of HBO dramas, made me want to love this but after enjoying the first couple of episodes I gave up about episode four. Might revisit this one though.

Entourage - my husband enjoys it and I did despite myself in the first couple of seasons, but now it just annoys and offends me greatly. This season is the last and I'm going to try to avoid it!

The whole drama, the Ben vs Noel saga... loved it! smile.gif

I'd be more into the latest season of Bones if I'd had any idea that Channel 7 was *finally* going to keep on airing it, after a completely unexplained 4-month hiatus dry.gif I'm still a loyal to it though - ever in the hope that Bones and Booth are going to actually get it together biggrin.gif blush.gif

I think the contestants were a little bit 'meh' this time, although there was some fantastic cooking. I still think there was and has been no-one to hold a candle to Marion in cooking ability, this season or last, and it'll be interesting who they find for a further season. I still love the masterclasses - I'm working my way through them as we speak, and will be trying loads of things when I get a chance to cook some time in my next life tongue.gif

Probably a very good move. I started watching it in late-pregnancy insomnia, and there was something magical about lying there in the dark with my laptop watching it, but it's completely ridiculous now biggrin.gif I'm still watching it - it hasn't quite put me completely off yet, but I wonder how much longer it can possibly go for, since they've used every combination of love-interest they could possibly have biggrin.gif

Noooo, it is still the best show on tv, each new episode is a perfect jewel I covet & lust after. And you can never have too much of Kevin McCloud, my favourite episodes are the ones where he has a strong opinion on the houses. Oh & did I mention he is my fantasy man wub.gif whew getting all hot & bothered now.

I'm another one that was over Masterchef this year. I watched the first few weeks, but really, it wasn't capturing my attention as it once did.

I still love Bones A co worker has downloaded them so I was able to get to the end of the season, which is good cause my dad is notorious for spilling the beans before I get a chance to see it. Sad news is that the new season isn't starting in the US until November!!! I blame baseball. I will be interested to see if the writers have recovered from whatever they were on when writing the last season, the writing seemed to get a bit worse as the season drew to an end.

Shows I have on record that I haven't watched because Im over them:

60 minute makeover (if I do watch one I'll generally fast forward to the last 5 mins reveal)
Dr Phil (same old advice)
Oprah (obviously all repeats now)
Grand designs (too drawn out)

I used to really enjoy CSI & Law and order SVU but Im totally over them now too.

My current fav shows are Game of Thrones (waiting impatiently for next season), Teen Mom 2, Tantrums and tiaras, the only way is essex (luckily season 2 is much better than season 1).

The last season of House just wasn't the same for me. But I am still a huge fan of Criminal Minds, loved the last season.

I lost interest in House with the whole romance saga.

I used to love curling up in bed to watch Escape to the Country. I loved trying to work out what house they would choose and what happened in the end. Now the new episodes with the new hosts don't always tell you what house they liked best and none tell you what they ended up doing. It may as well just be called Open House if it's just a buyer's agent banging on about how great a house is without finishing off with the personal touch.

Rafters - really didn't get into last season. Was a bit bland.

This happened to me too. I sometimes feel if I stop watching a show that I LOVED, I almost can't be bothered to start watching it again as I feel I was so emotionanly invested in it that it's almost draining to watch...

Does that make sense? For instance, I really like True Blood, but I find it a bit full-on and I do get very involved, but when I stop watching for a while I feel I'm not ready to become that involved again and would prefer to just not watch it!! biggrin.gif
