What tv shows did you used to love and watch religiously that you no longer watch or are just over?

I used to love the CSI shows, but I'm just so over them! They've gotten so predictable!

I also used to love Criminal Minds but I stopped watching because it just seems to get creepier and creepier!

Used to be addicted to Home and Away but got over the repetitive story lines

I love House but I think it's jumped the shark, it needs to finish soon. I just can't see where else they can go with it.

Also love NCIS but I've been very unimpressed with this last season, I'll keep watching it but I'm a bit over it.

Agree with you about Criminal Minds, I used to like the fact that they would never show anything gross but it's getting to the point where I think they are doing the gross stuff just for the shock value.

I loved Masterchef, but it became so repetitive and so drawn out that I stopped watching it 1/4 of the way into the season.

I am over TV altogether at the moment. It all seems the same. If I want to watch a show, I end up watching it online through iview or the like.

I have to agree with all of the above. I used to love the CSI shows too, but now I find them a bit stale. And I loved Criminal Minds because the characters & story-lines were intelligent, but it has just become gruesome. I like a smart mystery/thriller & intrigue with a twist, but most of the modern crime shows seem to focus on the gore and violence. The older I get the less tolerance I have for graphic violence.

Me too. I loved NCIS, I had all the seasons on DVD (which is rare as I don't buy DVDs) but I couldn't get into the last season. Perhaps because stupid chanel 10 stops and starts it at random times? I think the writers strike a couple of years ago also intrrupted the flow of it.

I've only been watching Criminal Minds for the last few seasons, and I quite like it. But some of the storylines are too full on. Perhaps since becoming a mum I can't handle too much human brutality anymore? Same goes for Law and Order SVU.

Spicks & Specks. I think it's ending at the right time.

Glee. The last season was very mediocre.

Packed to the Rafters. It will want to improve for me to commit to the new season.

Good News Week. I think it feels too scripted these days.

Exactly the same for me, becoming a parent seemed to heighten my compassion & empathy for others.

Weeds - it got too weird.
Masterchef - I miss watching just normal old cooking shows without drama, without having to wait until the ads are over to find out who won etc.
Neighbours - Hardly ever watch it these days and when I do I wonder why I bother!

Another one for Criminal Minds, although I probably only watched it for half a season before getting sick of it biggrin.gif

I still love Masterchef wink.gif Recording it all and watching it in delay with liberal use of the FF button makes it all that much more bearable.

I used to love So You Think You Can Dance - in fact, I still do, but it's way too much of a time commitment to watch - 2.5 hours or something a week, and I only get an hour or two to watch TV every week, so I had to completely let that one go sad.gif so sad, because I love the dancing and the choreography.

I just heard Desperate Housewives was cancelled, now that is a show that overstayed by about two seasons.

I've lost my Greys mojo and also my The Office mojo. I want to find it again, I really used to love those two shows.

Masterchef. This season we only watched bits and pieces of it, and everytime we were like "who are they? I can't remember seeing them before."

Offspring. Just got a bit tedious with all the fantasy scenes, and I was disappointed they went down the sister slept with ex path.

Packed to the Rafters - just lost interest when both the brothers had affairs.

Okay, here goes:

* Offspring. I just couldn't get into it this season. I have it all on the hard drive, but when I think about watching it I just find something else to do tongue.gif

* Masterchef. Hate hate hate, all the ads, the drama, the fancy schmancy food.

* Criminal Minds. Got really creepy ohmy.gif

* The Block. Loved last season, hate this one. I don't have time to watch it every night. If it was once a week and in the old format I might be tempted.

* Neighbours. All the actors give me the sh!ts with their bad acting, especially Lyn *shivers*

* Packed to the Rafters. Boring, slow, predictable story line. Hoping next season is better or I'll give up altogether

Masterchef for me. I was addicted last year but petered off about five weeks before the end of this series. The people didn't grab me and the show just got very repetative. Boooooooring.

I am another who went right off Glee. I hated that Channel ten kept mucking us around with the programming and I thought it was nowhere near as good this season with the storylines and character development. Now I am addicted to The Glee Project instead wink.gif

I got into the Block but that didn't last long for me...just tune in on reveal nights now, the rest is just same old, same old. I think that's why I am enjoying The Renovators...new challenges and reveals every single episode.

Lots of the ones already mentioned. Criminal Minds I stopped watching ages ago because yes it started to seriously freak me out!!!

In fact I find with working full time and being on mummy duties when I am home I have forgotten when shows are even on so miss them without realising it laugh.gif DH does record a few though and we watch them when nothing else is on and we have some spare time which is a nice "break".
