I'm so glad that Rod and Tania made $72K! I think it sucks though that Polly and Waz won the $100K when they only made $15K over their reserve.

Feeling really sorry for Katrina and Amie, that really sucks for them!

Yeah I feel a bit sorry for K&A for getting nothing in the end.

Lizzums, I guess it's profit for the contestants and not channel 9 since they didn't need to fork out anything (well, except blood, sweat and tears!).

I wonder if they'll get taxed on their "profits". Its more a competition prize isn't it?

The "profit" would taxed as it would be considered earnings for work done. The $100k would be tax free as it is winnings.

All the houses are sold.

Josh and Jenna's house sold today for 1million giving them a $50 000 profit.

Does that article mean they were paid $700 a week they were on the show? Or $700 for the full 8 weeks?
