Just a little update from me, I saw the obs this morning & he said everything is good, see you next week, so i'm guessing he doesn't think this baby is coming early wink.gif

Alana Congratulations smile.gif Awwww thank you for popping in to update us xxx

Toffee that was me last time. My doc always said 'I'm pretty certain I'll be seeing you next week' - and he always did until I was induced. Used to drive me nuts!

I lost a bit of my mucus plug after lunch today but labour could still be ages away, I'm not in any pain so I probably will be seeing the obs next week.
I have one very clingy toddler today, just wants to sit on my lap & have cuddles all day, hope he's not coming down with a bug. Last thing I need is to hand a sick spooky toddler over to my in laws when I go into labour.

Congratulations Alana wub.gif I hope your little man is doing well, as are you of course smile.gif

wow toffee, how exciting things are starting for you biggrin.gif

I can see my little one coming late for some reason, OR if she decides to come early, it will be when hubby will be in melbourne for a school excursion (in 2 wks time - i'll be 38 wks then, same time i had emily) blink.gif I dont have anything to indicate an early labour though. With emily i lost my mucous plug at 35wks, so knew my time was limited.

For some reason i am more terrified of this labour than i was with my first. With em it was such a slooooow progression (42 hrs) that i could handle things. This time i keep thinking i'm going to go from nothing to full blown labour in minutes! That cant happen.... can it??? Really freaking out here ohmy.gif

Had my swab test y'day. Hope all is ok. Bub's still measuring spot on, and her head is very much in. I was told to book my 40 / 41wk appointment, but hopefully i'll be cancelling that one.

Cant believe march is only a week away - eek!

Morning girls! I hope you all had a great weekend smile.gif

Nothing much happening here. SPD is worsening, with mild nausea and headaches to boot, but other than that there's no sign in sight of things moving toward labour. We did an Active Birth workshop a week ago which was brilliant and empowering, so I'm really looking forward to getting things moving. We've sorted out our birth plan with just a few little things to discuss with our Ob at our appt on Friday, so hopefully that will all get resolved then.

I'm more than ready to meet my little man now wub.gif

Fee - firstly, gorgeous pic smile.gif
I wonder which of our bubs will come first (seeing as they're due same day) smile.gif

Still nauseas here. Cant tell you how over it i am - 37wks of nausea is not fun!!!

Any more signs that bub is on their way, Toffee???

I'm doing the relay for life this weekend in our town, and to raise more money for the team, my work mates have decided to sell raffle tickets where people can guess my due date, bubs size and weight tongue.gif People's responses should be interesting as i've already had the "i thought you're having twins" comments, and one guy thought i should have had the baby a month ago already (he thought i was big then)!!! I'm actually not that big this time 'round so not sure how to take those comments unsure.gif

No I'm still around, a few niggles here & there but then it all goes away. I guess bubs is rather comfortable where it is!
When I dropped DS off at daycare this morning another mum was there with her 3 week old. I can't wait to meet our baby now. She asked me when I was due - it felt strange saying "this week".

Marissa this whole pregnancy everyone was telling me how big I was & now I get told I look small. Go figure??

Love the pic fee smile.gif

We're having our babies this month, yay!!!

Thanks for the comments on the pic girls wub.gif I didn't take any when pg with Mia so I was determined to do them this time. Not sure how I feel about being on the other side of the camera though, but at least I have an idea of how my clients feel now lol.

We had an ob appt yesterday and all is super well with bub. His head is firmly fixed into my pelvis now, hence the increase in pain in my pelvis over the last week. My ob expects him to be around 8lbs 14oz at birth as the scan yest shows him at 7lbs 2oz already, but I know these things aren't certain at all. Mia was 8lbs 10oz so my little man may not be far off.

We showed our ob our birth plan and he's more than happy to try to meet all of our wishes, which is a huge relief as I know we've specified some things that go against how he usually handles his births. We also discussed in detail my elevated BP during Mia's birth which led me to have an epidural. That, together with protein in my urine toward the end of Mia's pg indicates to him that I was heading toward PE so our visits will be much more frequent to the ob in these final weeks.

Everything is getting so exciting now!

How are you all doing?? I hope everyone is well!

I'm still here too. Chris is away and gets back on Wed so I want bubs to hold out til then. I think he will as I've had not a single BH, comtraction or loss of plug to date. He is still quite active and seems happy to stay awhile longer in my belly. I have an appt next Thurs and they'll check my cervix. She offered to do it on Wed when I went and do a S & S too but I declined in case it brought labour on before Chris got home.

Hope everyone else is well x
