Lewis will be 3 in September, he sleeps 11-12 hours at night (bed at 7 up at 6-7). He doesn't have a day sleep anymore, he does occasionally fall asleep in the car but even 10 minutes sleep during the daymeans chaos at bedtime, which keeps Jack up too who is then in a foul mood the next day.

I clicked 'no' for day sleep but he goes through stages and may fall asleep 2-3 times a week, depending on different factors. At least once a week he will fall asleep during the day.

He will be 4yo is two weeks.

You've probably already tried but in that situation it was quiet TV or reading time during OR off to his room (which he hates). It's not everyone's cup of tea but bribery or punishment may work?

Aidan is 3 in 2 months and pretty much is the same as above. If he is sick he will pretty much have a day sleep of about 2 hours but any other time, forget it.Aidan also does not like to go to his room. What i do now, so i can watch some programs I like in peace laugh.gif , is we have lunch at about 12ish, then once my daughter goes to bed, i put Aidan on our bed and put the tele on in our room, i leave him there about an hour and thats his "quiet time". He has about 12-13hours at night if he is down at 7:30pm. If he has a day sleep though, he wont go to sleep till 10-11pm (plays in his room in bed) at night and has maybe then only 10 hours at night (thus why we realised he no longer needed the day sleep) as opposed to 7:30pm when he has NO daysleep

K goes down at around 8.30pm, up typically around 6.30am.

She has a day sleep about 80% of the time, typically 1.30 - 3pm. If she doesn't, she has 'quiet time' in her room for a similar amount of time.

My 3 year old girl sleeps for around 10.5 hours at night, 8:30pm - 7:00am, the has a day nap for around 2-3 hours, I voted in the 12-13 hours a day category.

Some days she wont have a day sleep, on those days she just plays quietly on her bed for a couple or hours, occasionally ransacking her drawers & toybox.
