I've decided that I want soft yellow bridesmaids dresses but I'm stuck on what colour flowers to use. I want them bright & to stand out & dont want the same colours as the dresses. I might have yellow but I want the bridesmaids to have a different colour.

Any ideas???

A friend recently did the flowers for a fashion shoot that featured a yellow bridesmaid dress. Pics here http://www.facebook....154165974616418

I saw a pic in a wedding magazine recently that had brilliant blue flowers with yellow bridesmaids dresses and it looked stunning!

I had coral/orange bridesmaids and their flowers were red, orange & yellow roses and they were gorgeous. I carried a yellow rose bouquet and I loved it. Everyone commented on the colours too.

I think if you are having yellow flowers then they would look nice with white ones (if you are wearing a white/ivory dress).

I actually really like the sounds of the purple/blue orchids

I also had an idea of BM having white with a bit of black & me having yellow with a bit of black. I'm looking at having black linen & chair covers so the black in it might go nicely.

What do you think

I think yellow bridesmaid dresses are just fabulous. I think you should go with orange flowers or a light pink would look gorgeous!

I guess it would really depend on the theme you got going on with the wedding. Reds and Oranges and a little pink I think would look great if you having that autumn color scheme. You could also consider white flowers for you girls to frame your yellow ones?

What are the colours you have floating around in your wedding?

I'd suggest either purples and blues, or a bright spring green and white.

in my opinion, yellow bridesmaid dress with pinks/purple. if you use yellow flowers against a yellow dress they will wash each other out.

Yellow is the perfect color for your bridesmaids dresses. You can use a mix of yellow and light pink color bouquet for your bridesmaids. It goes perfect with the yellow color. You can try it too.

You can use ivory, teal blue, mint green and other light blue shade flowers. But I think it is perfectly match in teal blue flowers. You can see the contrast in these two colors and you can find some inspirations on the Internet such as Pinterest and Google.
