One of my friend's bridesmaids organised a wine tour for her hen's day. It was just over $100 and they used a bus that had one pickup/dropoff point, the guests had to make their way to that point. I believe it included lunch but no drinks. There was also a round of mini-golf.

I was unfortunately not in a position to be able to afford it, especially as we were only given a few weeks notice, and i was happier putting that amount towards a gift for her and her new husband instead. I think there was a few other guests in the same boat.

What might help if you suspect a few won't be able to make the cost, is to send an itinerary of the day eg what approx times you'll be at which winery; that way those who can't afford the whole day could drive themselves to one of the wineries and join in with the group for a short time? Maybe a half day tour could be an option as well?

I dont know if you have had this or not but Pink bus & limo tours are all under $100 for a full day and like $70 for a half day. and the more people the smaller the price.

Ive been on one before and REALLY enjoyed it.
