Well Daniel has for the last 2nights done a 6hour stint - slept only 5hours of it as it took him an hour to doze off. So he is roughly sleeping anywhere from 10pm to midnight and doesnt seem to wake until 3-5am. Which is great as long as my body actually decides to sleep as well. Im hoping he continues this - previously he had done the odd 5hour nights but then stopped.

Hope everyone is well.

Yay for longer sleeps!! My boys were doing 6 or 7 hours at times but I much rather them be in a routine than one sleeping and the other waking at all hours!

The baptism photos looked great!! He is adorable biggrin.gif

Lisa since my last post Harlow has been sleeping good, I think the chiro is really starting to help her more and she has started a routine of last feed between 6-7pm and will sleep until 11-12am and then wakes again between 4-5am and will then wake again about 8am so not too bad considering she was awake every 2 hours. I just hope it continues smile.gif

On a good day this is Leo's routine too. He's generally sleeping between 3-4 hours at eache sleep overnight which is a blessing. He's a lot more unsettled during the day at the moment and not sleeping more than an hour or so but I can cope with it better during the day.

Lovely to hear about eveyone's bubs. wub.gif

Has everyone else started mother's group? Mine doesn't start until May. I'm kind of happy with that because I know I'll be more confident and ready for it by then but it does seem like a long time away.

Ladilife - so glad to hear the baptism went well. We'll be getting Leo baptised but I haven't even spoken to the church about it yet. My parents are going overseas for a big trip so I don't think I'll be able to do it before July or August. We have a BIG family so it'll be quite a production and my brain isn't up for organising it just yet either laugh.gif

Hi Girls !!

Sounds like we're all getting a bit more sleep !

We're following SOS so Jett goes to bed 7, Dreamfeed around 930-10pm, sleeps to 1, then 4 and gets up at 7am. Hoping he cuts out the 1am feed soon....

Had check up today, he's now 5kg smile.gif Very alert and has a big fat tummy ! tongue.gif

Tammy- sooooo glad Little Miss is sleeping better for you, these last few weeks must have been very draining on you.

Lisa- what good little boys !! God, you were lucky getting over 8 hours straight with your other two! I was still getting up to Stella most nights when she was close to one !

Elle- good work Daniel.... now you need to try and shut your brain off.

Loved the photos of the baptism Patricia ! You look great biggrin.gif

Mink- how you going without hubby ?

eta- HI T-T - you sound like your going well too x

Yay another good night last night. Boys went down at 7pm Max got up at 2.30, Noah 2.50 and then down again til 6! After that it gets a bit funny though cause we have to do the school drop off so I had to get them in and out of the car. I fed them again at about 9!

That's so good Tammy that she is sleeping better!

T-T my boys don't sleep much during the day either but as you said it is easier to deal with (and gives me a great excuse as to why the house is a mess at the end of the day!)

Chels I think Noah would be getting up to 5kgs. He was 4.3 two weeks ago and has been putting on about 300gms a week. Max is still smaller. They have completely different builds so I'm guessing he will always be that way. If I think about my brothers who are two years apart, the younger one was always the same size as the older one and is now much taller and since they are fraternal twins I suppose the same could happen here. Max makes up for it in personality though!!

Hi Ladies

How is everyone going?

We are well...getting excited to have my DH home tomorrow.
Me & DD have settled into a great routine... she has even started sleeping 12hrs straight through.. no dream feed, no waking at all... 7pm - 7am... amazing!!! smile.gif The first time she did that I woke up at 7am panicking lol but she greeted me with a big gummy smile lol
She is such a little darling, Im in love with her more and more each day... its been great bonding time TBH while DH has been at work,... but im sooo looking fwd to having the next 3 weeks with him and being able to have a nice long shower and get my hair done etc etc LOL

How is everyone going with tummy time? DD doesnt like it very much at all.... she has good neck control i carry her around alot on my shoulder and she can almost pretty much sit up unassisted but when i put her on her tummy she doesnt like bringing her head up ... its like her head is too heavy for her lol laugh.gif

You lucky girl Jess!! My older two were like that, slept really really well from very early on. My boys are ok sleepers but not as good as their older siblings. I can't really say i'm tired any more though so that's got to mean something biggrin.gif They only really get up once each through out the night. And they are also small still for their ages, one is on the tenth percentile and the other on the 25th but they are climbing super fast and have jumped percentiles the last few times they have been measured!

Ben goes away for work on Wednesday to Saturday so it's going to be a challenge for me to have all four kids by myself...esp when two of them are babies!!!

I probably don't do tummy time as much as I should but they both have really good head control.

ETA and I'm still BFing!!! Didn't think I'd be able to do it with the two of them!

Thats great Lisa to be still BF.

Well my lil man sleeps from 10/10.30pm til 4/4.30pm but on the conditon the room is dark and he is wrapped. Iv learnt the hard way forgot to wrap him last night and he was up at 12.30 then every 2-3 hours. BF is going well (he feeds every 3hours during the day) though im still going to get his tongue tied snipped this week when he goes for his 2month needles. Also curious to find out how much he weighs as i never take kids for weekly weighs/checks.

How is everyone going?

Daniel is 2months old and had his needles this afternoon. Cried then settled so far hasnt turned grumpy - fingers crossed it stays that way. DH and I also got our whooping cough immunisation done - my arm is a tad sore where it got done.
Weight wise i have a stonker - 6.25kgs. He has put on 2.68kg since he was born - and i was concerned that with his tongue tied he may struggle to put weight on - not at the rate hes going hes actually up at the top of the percentile for his age. Length wise (63cm) hes right up the top as well. Thankfully hes head is average.

I have him consistantly sleeping 6hours a night now in the cot. have experimented with wrapping him at 7 then again at midnight for a 4am wakeup. but both of us seem to sleep better with the 6hours block. So im going to attempt to stretch out his day feeds to 4hours over the next week.

Hope all mummies and bubs are doing great

Hi everyone,

It has been so long since this thread has been active sad.gif

How is everyone doing? Angel_Elle, it's great you've got Daniel sleeping so well. Gregory still feeds every 4 hours...he wakes up, feeds and goes straight back to sleep, so I guess it's not so bad.

Is anyone thinking of starting solids soon? I think I'll wait until the 6 month mark...I don't feel like preparing food and cleaning...he seems happy enough on breastmilk so we'll see.

Chels, if you read this, I am thinking and praying for Stella.

Thinking of you Chels, hoping the best for lil Stella.

Ladalife - we have some attrocious days though with Daniel - particularly if the other 2 kids are playing up he just wants to feed every 3 hours which is tiring when you are sorting the others out. Also last cpl of nights we have only had 8-10hour block of sleep as he is well and truely overdue for a dirty nappy.

Solid wise we are going to look at doing it towards to end of June (roughly 4 & half months old) as we are going away for a week camping so i dont want to discover he reacts to anything when we are away.

Im looking at geting a jumperoo to help entertain dan as he really is keen to look around and be in the action - so long as the others arent being too loud.

How is everyone?

Hey Girls,

Its been very quiet in here ...

We are going great DD is FF and thriving. We were considering solids soon, but not too sure now.... might wait a bit... its doesnt seem like DD is 'ready' ... she isnt that interested and is sleeping very well... since she was 8 weeks she has slept 7pm - 7am straight through every night...we may have had only one or two nights since where she has woken at 4am for a bottle and then back down until 7/8am ish ... so we are very blessed ... however we may start introducing solids a little for tastes etc around the 5 month mark, see how we go smile.gif

We have 4 month needles Tuesday sad.gif not looking fwd to that

DD has been a bit funny with anyone else except me or DH ... its been the past 3 - 4 weeks, she sometimes gets upsets when being held by anyone else or if anyone else looks at her lol ... its frustrating when the grandparents done understand it and are telling me im spoiling her huh.gif blink.gif ..... anyone else experiencing something similar with their babies? Its like DD has now realized she just prefers mum or dad! no one else lol

Hope everyone is well

xxx

p.s - not sure if i have everyone on my FB.. im using that alot more than the forums these days xx

Im also thinking of you Chels xoxoox

Thinking of little Stella, Chels and your family xx

We're all good here. The boys sleep through the night MOST nights which is awesome! Still Bfing and neither have had a single bottle yet (not even EBM)

We have our 4 month needles of Friday and Zoe has her 4 year old ones....eeeek

I won't start solids till at least 5 and a half months. My others didn't start until then and these boys being born early can afford to wait a little longer!!

I wish I had an idea Jess, but my four have always gone to other people...maybe they just don't like us laugh.gif laugh.gif
