Hi Girls,

Well DD seems to go down for a day sleep ... lasts 40 mins max and wakes up... today we were out and about from 10am - 3pm and she slept most of it in the capsule or the pram! blink.gif hey it worked for us hehe ..but she just doesnt seem to like her cot or bassinet during the day

T-T - 9lbs 13oz! What a healthy big bubby! Well done smile.gif... im hoping to get to the clinic tomorrow to weigh DD, will report back smile.gif .. but she was born 8lbs 15oz

Lisa - thats great about the boys weight gains and you BFing them...kudos to you!! ... It appears DD likes to be awake alot during the day... which i guess is okay if she keeps her good sleeping pattern at night time.

Chels - Wind hasnt been toooo bad, but every now and again she does have bad wind sad.gif has anyone used Infacol?

xx

Ooooh my boys seem so small compared to everyone else!! But they were only 5pd 5 and 6pd 3 at birth and have put on heaps of weight since so I'm not worried, and besides Ben and I aren't exactly giants ourselves!!

Noah's done two Massive sleeps in a row but because of the staggered waking hours I'm still not getting enough sleep.

Today is my first day flying absolutely solo with the no help and all 4 kids. (Cal has a school closure day and Zoe doesn't have kinder) and It's been hard only because of the older two fighting non stop..grr

Jess My kids have never slept well during the day (the twins actually sleep better than the other two) They loved being up and about and going out of the house! They slept well at night too, so I'm hoping if these guys stay up more during the day it will have the same effect!

Sorry will have to come back later Max is crying again!! wacko.gif

We're okay here, Jett doesn't seem to want to sleep during the day -morning more so.....
Trying to get him on the SOS routine , I'll keep working at it.

Weighed him yesterday and he's put on 500grams in less then 2 weeks ! Greedy guts, and I was worried he wasn't getting enough laugh.gif

Hope your all well xxx

My boys are starting to be awake longer during the day..which I don't mind as long as they let me get stuff done. They are also both sleeping better, but still yet to have more than 3 hour sleep in a row due to the way the get up, but they can both go 5-6 hours (of course they start at like 8 so I don't get the full sleep)

We went to the pediatrician yesterday for a follow up (due to being twins and early) and he said they are perfect and no need to see him again. And Chels my boys are gutses too both put on 300grams in only one week! Though Max is still a few grams off 4kgs...but he was only born 2.4!

AE: Happy birthday Liam!!!

Hello everyone smile.gif

How are we all? Sleep deprived I bet!!

All is well here, yesterday we had our 8 weeks MCHN appointment, poor Gregory had his shots done. He didn't cry too much although he was a bit unsettled for the rest of the day. He now weighs 5.8 kilos !!
We are getting him baptised on Sunday, I am so excited wub.gif

Anybody else getting their little one christened or having a naming ceremony?

I don't know if i'm exactly sleep deprived as I get some sleep. I just haven't been able to have more than three hours in a row! laugh.gif

We have our next check up next Friday... The same day as our needles. I am going to take the boys together and just see how we go. Some twin mums do it at separate times.

The boys will be baptised...just don't know when! We were pretty slack with Zoe and she was 10 months old ph34r.gif

Might try to organise it soon!

The only reason I am getting DS baptised so early is because my parents are going back overseas next week. Otherwise I would probably do it later when things settle down a bit.

Good luck with your shots on Friday!

Hi ladies

Glad to hear your all well

DD is a trooper with her sleeping... generally falls asleeps at 8pm and sleeps straight through to 4am or 5am.. has a bottle and then back down until 8am .. occasionally she will wake at 2am-3am for a bottle... but this happens once every 4-5 days i think

We had her two month check up yesterday, she is weighing 6.12kgs! Shes put on about 2kgs since birth! Paediatrician advised to start DD on solids at the 4 month mark... omg! That means its 8 weeks away... which means my baby is growing up already! blink.gif lol laugh.gif ... DD loves her bottle (not b/f) and drinks 200mls EASY blink.gif

Im trying to plan DD naming day ceremony... but havent really been able to get around to it... hope to get it sorted in the next few weeks... set a date and venue

DH is back at work... he went to work on Monday.. after 10 weeks off together! OMG time has flown! .. he will be away for the next three weeks.. so for the first time im flying solo with DD.. so far so good smile.gif .. Today we stayed inside in our PJS all day ph34r.gif it was like a winters day here ... raining and gloomy all day...

I start a 5 week mother and baby group next week Friday... at local community clinic, looking fwd to hopefully meeting some new mummies smile.gif

Take care ladies
x

Sleep....whats that?? Daniel feeds every 3hours so im getting 2hour blocks as i tend to wait til i know hes down before i fall asleep. A few nights i have literally only had an hours sleep as i was just too tired to want to sleep. very crazy paid big time for that the next day when i had to run after the other 2. Also Daniel has occasionly stretched out to a 5hour sleep during the night but im always awake at the 3hour mark and its next to impossible to go back to sleep not knowing when you will be woken.

We get his shots done in a cpl of weeks - DH and I are also going to get the whooping cough immunisation for ourselves at the same time so i shall find out how much the lil guy weighs.

How is all the bubs coping with heat? Iv noticed Daniel has broken out in a pile of sweat pimples on his face as he just burns the heat - no fun when he wont settle unless hes getting cuddles at times during the day.

Hope everyone is well

Mink_Pink, lucky you with such a good sleeper!! It must be so strange not having DH around after 10 weeks. I start a 6 week parenting group program on Tuesday, we can allocated to a mother's group in the last session.

Angel_Elle, I hope you get some rest soon...I am the opposite, as soon as I hit the pillow I am off to the fairies! DH and I got the whooping cough vaccinations already, I was a bit paranoid about DH catching it.

It's not very warm in Melbourne, so no heat issues. Where are you, WA?

yay!! My boys are settling into a routine biggrin.gif They go down at 8pm, wake at 1 am and get up again at 5 am. Can't wait for them to drop that 1 am feed!!! My eldest two were sleep solid 8-10 hours by this stage so it's a little different!

Tammy and AE hopefully it will get better for you guys soon.

Tammy did your other two have difficulty putting on weight? I have one that is putting on a lot more than his brother, but feeds less! Go figure!

Hope everyone else is well biggrin.gif

Lisa, that's great to hear about the boys settling into a routine! It must be good to be able to sleep a bit more. Gregory sleeps at around 10-11 p.m then wakes up for a feed at 3-4 a.m. and then around 7 a.m., so it's not too bad really.

How is everyone else travelling?

AFM, we had the baptism on Sunday, it was such a beautiful day; everything went well. I had my first mother's group meeting today. Everyone seemed really nice.
