Anyone watching the Biggest Loser? I love the show - so glad it's back on again.

OMG - I'm having some pretty crazy, unhealthy pregnancy cravings but seeing some of the food that the families are eating is making me feel ill! I am really feeling for the trainers - it must be so hard for them to have to eat like that.

I started watching about half way through. Michelle seems to be handling it the worst from what i've seen. How sad is it for the lady whos dad was a heroin addict sad.gif

I too came in half way through (I forgot it was on!), so now I'm waiting for the episode to come up online so I can watch the first half an hour.

I really did feel for the woman whose father was a heroin addict.

Her story was so sad. And it was really so true what she was saying about some of her problem steming from never having a parent to teach her about the right way to eat.

I wonder what the mother of the Blue team has her melt down over? It looked like she was yelling at her son's girlfriend. Awkward......

I think I'm going to enjoy this season. smile.gif

Yes i remember seeing the ads with the Blue Mum, i think its because she just has excuse after excuse. And agree if its after an argument with the GF, very awkward!!

Agree the way we are bought up - good, bad and the ugly - all shape what we become, and she certainly wasnt going to grow up eating healthy when she lived under those circumstances for sooo long. I mean getting lettuce scraps from the supermarket? WOW!

I only got to watch it between overs rolleyes.gif but its on record. That carbonara (carb-o-rama?)... double blergh. And some garlic bread on the side.

I'm really interested to watch this season to see how/why people make their food choices rather than just the isolation of one or two people in the house purely focused on losing weight.

I can't wait to watch this season. I think it's great that the trainers have to live in and eat with their groups- very entertaining!

I'm kind of undecided, I thought they would've made the week with the trainers go for a bit longer on air than tonight...

But it'll be interesting to see how they proceed from here, and I did notice that no-one had mentioned the word 'journey' yet wink.gif

Was very interesting to see how they eat, but I do really hope it was partly overdone for the cameras. Like jaydee, I thought it might have shown more about it all. Definitely great for the trainer's to see how they are living

Another one who was starting to feel a bit ill watching some of what they ate. I can definitely understand how the trainer's bodies were having adverse reactions, if your body isn't used to it it would be so horrible.

OK so I'm all caught up now. Am I right in saying the next episode is Wednesday? Why not nightly like every other season?

Ok, I'm only part-way through the first episode BUT:

When Shannon turned up to his family, the food on the table didn't look that bad to me blink.gif Some t-bones, green veggies, mash, some grilled sweet potato blink.gif Granted I wouldn't eat a t-bone every night of the week, but it's hardly a horrific meal...

Also, has Tiffany seriously never eaten a chicken Parma??? It looked like a fairly ordinary one, but I think it's somewhat 'unastrayan' to be bagging the good humble Parma wink.gif and I have definitely eaten a lot of them that are significantly bigger than the one she had blink.gif Not every night of course.

Surely the food had to have been exaggerated?

I am probably the around the same size as some of those contestants, and even at my heaviest, I have never eaten that badly.

On a side note, I am loving this season for the simple fact that there is plenty of Commando air time wub.gif ph34r.gif
