How long will you be staying? Kaua'i is a beautiful island to visit as it is quite a contrast from Oahu and the other big islands. It's known as the Garden Isle and is in a much more natural state then the more populated islands.

The Waimea Canyon is stunning although that side of the island is quite rugged, or you could stay in Pinceville which is on the other side of the island and has beautiful resorts and lots of gorgeous scenery too.

There's plenty to do while in Waikiki, the International Market Place could definitely take a day or two to look through (and a great place to get all your souvenirs).

Will you be hiring a car while on Oahu? We only spent the day in Waikiki so everything else we saw was all over the island. I guess they would most likely have tour buses from your hotel for most of the main tourist attractions though.

Definitely go to a Luau (traditional feast - quite touristy with lots of Polynesian dancing/lei making etc)

Make sure you keep an eye on your bag there tho - we were warned about pickpockets.

Check out the Sea Life Park - its in the movie "50 First Dates" - just jump on one of the trams that run frequently

Snorkle at Hanauma Bay

And have a Sour Dough Burger from Jack in the Box ... yum!

"It's pointless" said reason.
"Give it a try" whispered the heart...

I love Waikiki, it is an amazingly beautiful place and the people are so friendly and welcoming. I want to live there!

We stayed at Hilton Prince Kuhio and it was STUNNING. Couldn't fault anything there, it was perfect.

I would recommend visiting Pearl Harbor, it was really interesting. Ala Moana shopping centre in Honolulu is AWESOME - highly recommend!! The hotels and shops along the main strip along the Waikiki beachfront are awesome, and we wandered up and down every night, everything is open late and there are buskers and entertainers til late as well.

We honeymooned in Hawaii for 2 weeks & it was the best 2 weeks of our life! wub.gif

We did a 7 night cruise which went to Maui, Big Island & Kauai, plus we had 6 nights at the Sheraton Waikiki - absolute bliss!! smile.gif

Have you booked your accom yet? Where r u staying?

Some definite must do's:

-Pearl Harbour (100% MUST!) It's free to get in, but if you want to do the other sites (USS Missouri etc) it does cost, but totally worth it in my opinion.
- Snorkle at Hanauma Bay
- A traditional Luau. We did one on Kauai which was absolutely amazing, but I've heard good things about the one at Paradise Cove & Germaines as well..
- Eat at the Cheesecake factory
- If you have time, hire a car and drive around Oahu. Plenty of great sides to the island away from the busy streets of Waikiki smile.gif

You are going to have a ball.. I'm counting down til our next holiday there!

We went to Hawaii for our Honeymoon aswell, we are desperate to go back, as after the wedding we were exhausted and just want to relax so didn't to many tours, We only stayed @
Waikiki, and it was amazing, the people are so friendly,
We did Manage to go to Pearl Harbour, which is a must when you go there and also did a Luau very entertaining. The chessecake Factory is a must for lunch or dinner, we ate there pretty much every day the food and service was amazing. I hope you enjoy Hawaii as much as we did !
