Oh rain forgot to add - I am desperate for a girl. Matt wants a boy....so that should be interesting!

Hahaa!! DH and I were like that, however i now would like a boy first. However as i said... i really would be still over the moon if it were a girl too wub.gif

As for who we have told.
I have told
- mum (who will tell dad)
- One of 3 sisters
- a friend at work... because she knew about the whole journey.

DH has told blink.gif
- His mum and step dad
- His boss
- his work collegues
- his brother (one of 2)

So he has basically told everyone he would tell at any stage. To say hes excited is an understatement wub.gif

Im going to tell my one of my other sisters today, via email.

ALSO i just booked our appointment to see how many babies we have inside me for next monday 29th!! Exciting and scary!! more exciting though wub.gif

Due Date:
Leebec 29th July 2011
~Mariposa~ 2nd August 2011
Rain 3rd August 2011
Sis 3rd August 2011
Appointments:
Rain... Monday 29th August - scan - find out how many babies we are having wub.gif

Oh Rain, only this week to get through! I still bet you're going to be a twin mummy though! biggrin.gif

ETA: I think sis's due date is the same as yours?
Another one to love!

I will feel happier waiting until monday smile.gif

I edited it to add in sis' due date as same as mine.
I get different dates from different websites... so i wasnt 100%. some say 2/8 some say 3/8

I wish you could, so many people are dying to know how many you're baking! wub.gif

If I use my LMP to calculate my due date then it says the 31st of July, but I know when I O'd and that puts me at the 2nd of August. smile.gif

How are you feeling?
Another one to love!

Just adding my appointments in:

I LOVE IT!! its awesome you have worked out when you will finish up work!!! LOVE IT!! laugh.gif

Im thinking i will try work as long as possible (if its just one baby). i know thats no fun, however my job is sooo cruisey... so its worth coming in for the money.

Are you ladies going private or public?

Im going public. I dont have private health insurance anyway, so i really dont want to have to pay for it all myself.
Plus 2 of my sisters are nurses (midwife, and Emergency nurce) and my other sister is a doctor (radiologist) and they all work at the public hospital i will be going to. (both my sisters recently had there babies there too... even though they did have private health).
So yes... my sisters can pull some strings to make sure i get a double room, with a double bed for my stay, so my DH can stay with me.
Plus, i know afew of the midwifes there (through my sister), and im happy with it all.

Bec, only 30 weeks to go!

Rain, you're all set with your sisters! We'll be going public too. smile.gif Just need to figure out these catchment areas, might ask the GP when I go. I'm feeling tired and queasy, but otherwise quite normal. lol
Another one to love!

Yeh i will be going with midwifes too.
My sister was explaining there are 2 ways to do ti with midwifes in tassie.
- the birthing centre - where they are all about doing it natural, with limited intervention/pain releif (however they have it on had if you need it obviously!)
- and the midwife program (not sure what its called) - but they are more happy to offer you drugs, and accept if you want an epidural etc to begin with.

i have to discuss it further with my sister (the midwife), and research it alot more, but Im thinking firth hand i would like to go the birthing centre... although i have a feeling my husband wont be too keen on that. The birth of his daughter was very distressing for him. (lots of things went wrong)
we will see.... i have plenty of time to decide

Rain - I am going private hospital with an obs. I have no choice. I have to be under an obs care cause of my kidney & bladder issues and i have to go to the private hospital that my urologist works out of so it narrowed my obs choices and he is happy with the obs i have chosen. I cant wait to see our family drs reaction tomorrow. I have been a patient of his for 25 years and he originally lived next door to matt when we all first moved to our suburb as it was a new subdivision when our parents all built....that will be interesting as he will have no idea!

I have had private health insurance since I was born so thats cool - never been without it. I know my levels are all ok as I have checked numerous times with the fund.

Matt has known that we would have this cost coming all along. If it gets to it and i am running short for an ultrasound etc instead of asking him for the money as he will give me a lecture of how much everything is costing i will just get it from my dad.....he is so beside himself over this, and he desperately wants a girl, that he will pay for anything....I know that sounds bad but its easier to get the money from dad then to listen to matt whinge for days on end! tongue.gif
