Yeah everything is going well for us too! Riley is just the cutest thing ever!

Em is having some difficulties adjusting to being a big sister and is really needy for attention at the moment which I have to admit is driving me nuts!

Breastfeeding is going well this time round, still a little engorged but Riley feeds pretty well so no complaints!!

Em-jay, could you tell us more about the big sister bit? I am really stressing about this with Cate - she is being SO good at the moment I am afraid it is all going to going to poo when Pickle arrives sad.gif DH will be around but still.

What sort of behaviours is Em exhibiting? How are you coping / dealing with it?

Any advice or tips would be great, if you have the time of course!!! smile.gif

hey girls

My 2yr old daughter seems ok so far. My only real concern before Tahlia was born is that she would go backwards in toliet training but she hasnt so far (touch wood).
But i am dying for a nap and I cant have one sad.gif
My 8 yr old is fine with bub but wants to cuddle all the time.
They always say how much they love her its cute as

Hey Guys

Yay i can finalyl post here.

Em as you started the thread, do you want to add each of our babies birthdates to your first post so they are all together and there forever smile.gif
mine is as follows. Chloe Eliza 10/09/10 9pound 2oz

We are settling in well, she is so good so far, sleeping well and i have had to wake her for feeds. I think thats has a lot to do with the congestion she has with the fluid she ingested during birth, so we will see how things go once that clears. We are absolutely smitten and i feel so blessed to have 2 gorgeous children whom i love to pieces, oh and the husband that gave me those 2 said children smile.gif

How is everyone else going?

She has just been really needy and clingy to both DH and I! She has been not following instructions and actually spending a bit of time in 'time-out'. She was so independent before Riley came home and now she seems to want us to do EVERYTHING for her. Which is really frustrating! But the following instructions thing is the worst. Everything we ask her to do she will just say NO!!! So we have gone back to basics and are doing the whole 2 warnings then time-out thing smile.gif Seems to be working slowly! We are also trying to spend quality one on one time with her each day which helps alot!!!

Done smile.gif

We are going well! Riley has sticky eyes at the moment which I remember from Emmy being really common in newborns so I am just bathing with breastmilk at the moment and hoping it will clear up shortly! He is still feeding well, and I am thinking of taking him to get weighed next week (I am not going to any ECHN's this time as I don't really need to so I will just go to a self weigh station!)

We are all going well here.
My 2yr old is fine, hasnt changed from before so I am pleased at all just wants to give her baby sister lots of cuddles and so does other big sister.

I think she has a bit of thrush in her mouth so going to pop to chemist later.
Shes so beautiful I am so in wub.gif wub.gif ... doesnt matter how many kids I got I had forgotten that pure love as soon as the baby was born.

We had her ultrasound done on her hips on tuesday and the guy said to look at they look ok but have to get radiologist to have a look to be safe.

We pretty much got ourselves into a routine from day dot which is good, I always try do this from beginning.

If she doesnt wake up I wake her about 9pm and give her a bottle and then bath then top up and then we all head to bed.

Hahaha well at least your hubby was thinking outside the box Shel laugh.gif

Everything is going well here, Em is still having days of being difficult but overall we are coping well!

Ri's eyes are really really gunky now (newborn sticky eye) so I have been bathing them in breastmilk so hopefully they clear soon! Em is off on a sleepover tonight and DH is at the races, I am soooo bored and lonely! Hopefully he gets home soon!

Hi Ladies,
Sounds like all is going well with you all.
Thought i might add Brychan to the list!

Brychan Samuel 2.7kg/ 6lbs 30th August

Went on our first family day out yesterday. A friend is visiting and we decided to head off to a town called Hay-On-Wye. Lovely town for wandering around. However, it also has to be the most unchildfriendly town in the world. Trying to find a cafe where we could take the boys in was a nightnare! Not hurrying back!

Hugs
