Hi Everyone

Hubby has an interview tomorrow afternoon with the Catholic school we would like to send Brandon to next year and I was wondering what sort of questions they would normally ask.

I know that they have had a huge response for applications for next year and I was wanting to prepare hubby as best as I can.

I am guessing the obvious question would be "why do you feel it is important to send your child to a catholic school" or something to that effect but what else would they ask and also just as important, what questions should we be asking them.

We had an interview not too long ago and that was the only question they asked really. Oh, and just if our child could count / write name / know abc's etc or had any learning difficulties.

For our kinder/pre-prep/prep interviews, our daughters were involved - there were activities on the mat and whilst we spoke to the teachers/principles, the child was 'assessed' (and i use that term loosely). Just to see how they played, how they communicated, their speech etc.

We were asked why we chose that school (alignment to our personal values, the culture, the reputation etc); what involvement we could contribute (if any); routine of child, abilities of child (toilet trained, musical etc). HTH smile.gif Good Luck!
