i think i mis-read.

i thought emsie was saying she also receives $617.90 PPS and it doesnt change.

im lost! haha too many figures to remember

Sorry that's my bad. I meant it doesn't change if you receive child support, barely changes if you have more children. If you work, then it does change smile.gif

I have had to go back to work, and my pension has gone down to only 241 a fortnight. But i am better off working part-time and getting pension top up , then if i was to work full-time.

For those that have gone the CSA route, how long did it take once you applied?I applied 5 weeks ago, and 2 weeks ago spent 4 hours on the phone, and still nothing sad.gif

Until you insist CSA take it from his pay, it's up to him to pay it. If he doesn't pay it, they don't do anything about it til you make them.

Well, i called again, and ex is dodging the calls, so when 28 days since i applied, they either approve/decline my app, and then go the route of garnishing his wages. But she told me to expect at least a 3 month wait for anyting sad.gif

~sorry, a bit trivial compared to recent posts but I need to release~

Days like today are frustrating. P is teething, which means her immune system has gone to sh!t and she's got a temp. Daycare policy is to have children picked up once they get over 38, and when they called it was 38.4 and rising. So there goes half my day, my afternoon of training so I can do more at work. Can't get a doctor's appointment til tomorrow morning, which means I can't go to the rental inspection of a unit I want to apply for as it's tomorrow morning too.

It'd just be nice to have a little help sad.gif

I have zero family up here as backup. Well, I have one great aunt, but I haven't been in touch with her yet and she lives on the other side of the city.

Doubt it. The woman I spoke to was a rude wench so I wouldn't dare try and arrange a different inspection time.

Sorry Em, I have no idea, dave just pays it, although after the last few msgs between us, he may turn into a prick just yet.

Gems - Fly her over here. I hear you on not having anyone else to rely on. I am lucky in that my dad is here, and he has no life so is always available, also my mothers group friends are always willing to have A for a few hours. Are there any afterhours gps you could take P to tonight?

I don't have a mother's group, and there are no suitable playgroups for us either sad.gif
I have some friends who will mind her if need be, I just hate asking sad.gif Although there's a work function next week and I thought I wasn't going to be able to go due to a lack of babysitters, but they've told me to take P along smile.gif

I want to go to our regular doctor as I need to get a letter off them for daycare. And I want to have a chat to them about me too, so other GPs aren't really an option unfortunately.

Gems - I'm sorry to hear about Penny. Have you thought about looking out for or advertising for a baby sitter???? As you have said, you dont have any family support where you are, so maybe if you were able to find a reliable babysitter that you could work with long term.

I know it might not help this time round but will be good in the future.

Great to hear from u Emma. It's great getting that independence back again. For me personally I felt more empowered. However I do understand ur feelings on being lonely but I do guess that's the great thing about having our little ones they do help make the loneliness not as bad.

Life is really great for me. Mediation date has been set for 27 May. So I will find out then on whether I will be apllying to the court to relocate. I'm also off to Bali with my boyfriend in June (only 6 weeks to go). Am just starting to get excited about that.

Things are really great with the bf and I. Even spoke of marriage the other day. While I definitely want too it still freaks me out a bit. As we are all aware of how successful my first marriage was :-S. However this does give me the chance to really evaluate marriage, what it means to me, and making sure that if I do go down that path that I am doing it for 100% the right reasons for me.

Hi everyone smile.gif Glad to hear things are going well for you two smile.gif

I'm going pretty well. I was diagnosed with PND about two months ago, and I'm slowly picking myself back up. I started a relationship with a guy who I've been friends with for a few years and it is the most amazing, awesome, loving relationship I've ever experienced. We were both a bit cynical about the concept of 'The One', but within a week of our relationship starting, we changed our minds wub.gif
He's it smile.gif We've spoken about marriage, babies, our future wub.gif And moving in together is likely to happen before the end of the year smile.gif

I'm getting better about asking people to help out minding Penny, and she is adored by everyone so they enjoy looking after her - which helps a lot!
She's in daycare four days a week now, and I only work three so I get one day to myself, which is nice.
I'm really enjoying being back at work. It's helpful for me to have a focus, and I'm doing really well with my processing and certainly making a good case for it not being entirely necessary for me to work full hours (I work one hour less than F/T hours) because I won't be ready to go back to F/T for a while.

I'm certainly not fantastic, but with my wonderful support network and my totally awesome BF (wub.gif) I know I'll get there.
