I've noticed the ads on tv for the BT Super for life product.

I'm interested in the product as it has very low fees & no commissions.

I think there are a few financial advisors on here - or perhaps a couple of people married to financial advisors - just wondering what their general thoughts are (eg is BT viewed as a good company to invest with amongst the investment community or if theres some kind of catch to this new product that's not widely known?)

Not that I know anything about financial planning, but BT financial is run through Westpac Bank and also control all the superannuation for all McDonalds Australia employees. I used to have super with them from the time I was 18-21. Got an okay interest rate, they always communicated really well and had great customer service.

Now I'll leave the smart, knowledgeable people to add their ideas.
