Just popping in here while I have 20 mins before I need to wake up Tabitha for her next feed.
She is going well, we are trying to feed her every 3 hours and get some sunlight into her to get rid of the jaundice. She was tested in hospital but didn't need the UV lights, so we are just managing it at home.
I am coping much better at home, hubby is doing a massive amount of the work, he is even getting up with me to do the feeds as he burps her for me every 15 mins or so then changes her nappy and wraps her again
then we both go back to bed. We got 6 hours sleep last night and 7 hours the night before, so hopefully this keeps up!!!!
We have been inundated with visitors since we came home so I am quite looking forward to a quiet week this week. DH is going back to work tomorrow but only for half days, probably 10-2pm for two weeks to help get into a routine and help me at home so it's not such a culture shock.
My ankles are still really swollen but I haven't had much time to rest with my feet elevated because of the visitors. Hopefully I will be able to get rid of then this week.
My boobs are engorged, but I've found a supportive tank top does wonders for this. I have two of the lovable feeding tanks and I can't recommend them enough. The target ones do nothing for support so I only wear them to bed. I think I might go and get two more of the lovable ones this week they are so comfy and supportive.
Ok well it's time to go and wake up Miss T for her next feed, hope everyone is doing well and has had a fantastic mother 's day!!!!
