Watching those kids jump up and down over Justin Bieber was hysterical.

But it did make me think about my musical crushes, and how I would listen to their music as a 10 to 12 year old, sure that if I could get into their concert, they would fall in love and dedicate their next album to me.

Before I moved on to Dave Grohl, Billy Corgan and the other angst driven rock crushes, my first pop music crush was Michael Tierney from Human Nature (back in 97)

He's the one in the bottom left corner:

Yep, I thought East 17 were pretty hot.

However, my heart was for (yep embarassing to admit now) was Bros. I went to the concert with my mum and bestie at the time and we just squealed and cried the whole time.

I must be really old because my first teen music crush was Matt Goss from Bros. My best friend also loved him so we'd spend hours giggling & dreaming about him. Lord help me!

I think I'll be one of the older folks here. I love the 80's...my first crush was George Michael. I LOVED Wham!

Then I moved onto a-ha. Morten, Mags & Pal...siiiiigh. I had a meltdown when I saw them in concert when I was 16 and chaperoned by my cousins. They still bag me about it now! tongue.gif

Love 'em!

I'll be showing my age a bit here. As I recall, the posters I had on my wall when I was about 16 were A Ha, Wet Wet Wet, Bros. I can't remember if I actually wanted to Marry any of them.

How embarrassing!
