LOL! I know what you mean. You might be mistaken in thinking that Twilight is my biggest love but it is definitely Harry Potter by a long shot.
I love the whole magical world and can't wait for the movie as Jen said it's sad that there are no more books but I am bidding my time with HP Fanfiction to keep me going.

There is so much you can learn from a series in the world of fandom.

Oooh, awesome pics. Thanks for posting!

I used to be obsessed with HP, and read books 1-5 more times than I could possibly count, but I've only read book 6 twice and book 7 once, mostly because of irritating characterisation warps in those two books that didn't gel with me at all.

But I'm still looking forward to the movies, cause I loved the HBP movie even if the book was a little disappointing for me. smile.gif

I've put all the books away... I plan on reading them aloud to my first baby one day; my reasoning being that you're supposed to read to your child from day one, so I might as well read something I'm going to enjoy! And maybe by then I'll have forgotten one or two things so it'll be a bit of a rediscovery for me. Maybe. Lol.

Rupert Grint and Tom Felton talk "Deathly Hallows" Epilogue

The Philippine Daily Inquirer, features a short discussion with Harry Potter actors Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) regarding the long-anticipated Epilogue scene, where their characters, nineteen years later, send their children off to Hogwarts.

QUOTE
Like Rupert, who had scenes with a boy actor who plays his child (“The kid looks just like me!”), Tom Felton also acted with a youngster who portrays his offspring. “It was bizarre, nerve-wracking and poignant at the same time, because it reminded me of how I began,” pointed out Tom, who is as nice in person as he is evil as Draco Malfoy.

The article continues, with comments from Potter producer David Baron, who notes that "There are three sensible places where we can do the split." Actor Robbie Coltrane also speaks briefly to the extensive makeup process to become Hagrid, while Mr. Grint again speaks to the kiss he will share with actress Emma Watson in the film.

Rhys Ifans talks about Deathly Hallows and Evanna Lynch

In a recent interview, Rhys Ifans - the actor who will portray Xenophilius Lovegood - commented on how thrilled he was to be cast in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. His reaction? "I got it man!"

He also spoke highly of Evanna Lynch:

QUOTE
She's amazing," he said. "If there's a question on set -- and they have a plethora of researchers and people who've read the books -- but if anyone needs to know ANY miniscule detail about anything that has happened in any Harry Potter novel from start to finish, they ask her. She knows it all. So it was quite intimidating. I was working with this expert in Harry Potter. But she was a joy to work with. All of them, all of the kids or whatever you call them, it was just a great couple of weeks

Chris Rankin to Finish Filming "Deathly Hallows" in May

Earlier this week, Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) and Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) were among those to speak on the Harry Potter Day at Leeds Young People's Film Festival. In a follow up interview about the event, Chris Rankin mentioned that he was due to finish filming "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" shortly. Talking to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Rankin said, "I finish filming mid-May so there's not long to go. It will be strange and very sad to say goodbye."

The Percy Weasley actor also described the Hyde Park Picture House - where the Harry Potter film marathon took place - as "the cinema which time forgot." Rankin remarked that it was "fantastic" to see grandparents and grandchildren together at the event, "enjoying the films as a family."

You can read the rest of the article here at the Yorkshire Evening Post
