Can you tell I am bored today?

Well, it seems that most of us are always looking to save a few dollars.
Posting about a product in another of my threads got me thinking about passing on specials to each other. I know we probably all check the catalogues weekly but things can get over looked and often something is on special that we might not have tried yet and are just looking for a recommendation or what not. Perhaps post your state as well given specials can vary.

This could be an epic fail but I thought it was a good idea

I'm in Sydney

Woolworths - Monday 22/2

Steggles Crumbed Chicken Breast Tenders - $3.39 (400g) - half price
4Ll Rice Bran Oil - I love this, it is better for you than olive oil - $12.99, save $10
30 x 375ml Cans of Coke or Zero - 2 for $36, save $15.18

Also, starting this Thursday 25th Feb, Aldi has a great range of musical instruments for the bath - $7.99 each

This is a great idea, I think it was the thread about what you stock up on when on sale etc, and I thought with the amount of ladies on here we should have somewhere to share all the specials. I wonder if places like Coles, Woolies, Kmart, Target etc have the same specials Australia wide? I often find on their website (we have only been delivered junk mail twice in 3 years) I have to type in my post code which makes me think different states have different specials? Good idea anyway.

I have nothing to add today as its not till tomorrow that I come online when they have updated all their catalogues laugh.gif

This isn't actually a "special", but you should be able to get some great deals on photo frames, digital cameras etc -

Whilst not a special per se, for those coffee drinkers (espresso) - BluePod/Lavazza provide you with an espresso machine free, when you buy 120 pods every 3 months. To be cost effective/saving for Hubby and I, that works out to be 2 coffees per day, under $1 each.
(I can't speak for the lavazza coffee itself - I'm going to have to hunt down a cafe that sells it to make sure I actually like it wink.gif )

They also cater for the office (more 'commercial' machines).

http://www.bluepod.com.au/

Oh, another one I thought of ...
For those woolworths/safeway shoppers with an everyday rewards card - they've got a fuel 'special' on - buy $20 chocolate bunnies/eggs (no "boxes of chocolates" incl) and receive a 10c/Litre fuel saving. I believe that you can get up to 14c off, but I'm not sure what the conditions were wacko.gif

Has to be purchased this weekend. Not sure when the fuel special is added to your card (hopefully before Easter) wink.gif
