with 10 sleeps to go for my 'night before' we currently have decided that my bridesmaids and I will all stay at my parents house, they have a big snooker table & a spa so we are going to get something yum for dinner, have a spa & play some snooker.. maybe watch a movie and have a few drinks before the big day.

FH and his Best Man are staying at a hotel not far from the venue and they hope to have a quiet night together doing guy stuff and having a few drinks (hopefully just a FEW) hehe......

I hope that I can sleep.... I dont want bags under my eyes the day of my wedding!

I'm spending the night with my Mum, stepdad, best friend and his partner and their 2 kids, and my daughter. We will grab some takeaway and eat it down the beach, then all go back to our hotels. I am really looking forward to spending that last night with my daughter (7) before the wedding

Im spending the day and night before with my BMs. We are getting pedicures at 4pm, going back to the hotel to get changed, head out to dinner, then back to the hotel to watch a DVD, eat popcorn and have a quiet girlie night.

So excited! smile.gif

Talked, drank, ate and did mani/pedis with my BMs, my bestie and his BF (who also stayed at the hotel we got ready at). I had planned to take DVDs but forgot to pack them! In the end it didn't matter- was a great night biggrin.gif

We had our rehearsal at the church late afternoon the day before the wedding. That night we went back to the hotel where our reception was to be held, and had a yummy dinner with family, some of the bridal party and any out of towners who were staying at the same hotel.

I stayed at the hotel that night, in a suite which all my bridal party and I got dressed and made up in the next morning. I went up to my room at about 9:30 I guess, had a lovely long bath put on the fluffy bath robe and just had some "me time" before all the excitement of the next day.

Was perfect last "free" night

I spent the arfternoon before getting our pedicures and nails done, then some came back to my mum and dad's where we had dinner (the others got there a few hours after we finished getting nails done etc) mum cooked spag bol yum! All my BM's slept in my room stayed up way to late, talked alot saw hubby and one of the GM. In the morning we got hair done then make-up then headed up to where we were to get married and have out reception where we got ready and had lunch. The time flies so quickly in those last few days/hours!

Wish i could do it all over again

We had a went to a restaurant with our immediate family and had a gorgeous chinese banquet, it was so great coz everyone was so excited about the following day, and it was nice to have an intimate celebration with them before the massive day ahead.

Mike and I said goodbye to each other in the car park, and went and stayed at out parents homes and didnt see each other until I was walking down the isle.

Even though it was technically the wedding, it was one of the most memorable events of that weekend.

I will be at my in-laws (to be) and we are having pre wedding prayers and celebrations.
They will have blessings of both myself and my partner, bless my sarees, present my sarees to me, then we will all (family and close friends) have a big vegetarian party.
It will be vegetarian as the wedding day will be meat- normally his religion don't eat meat on wedding days, but since it is mixed religion we are changing a bit.
