I actually just looking at my online gallery now!

We paid $3500 and got the following...
10 hours coverage, plus she arrived to me early because we were running early in the morning
All photos hi res with basic editing on CD
Proof book with all photos
Online viewing gallery
11x15 30 slide photo album

The night of the wedding she had already uploaded 66 photos onto her blog and onto FB, and the day we got back from the honeymoon (2.5 weeks after the wedding) she had sent us a free brag book with 20 images that fits in my handbag. The following day the photos were all online and she has sent me her first edit of our album.

It was easily that best money spent for the wedding. Her images are just unbelievable. smile.gif

We paid $1850 and got:

Unlimited service (our day went for 13 hours) It seemed like it went for 3 days! lol
All the photos he took in high res, and they were all edited for colour etc. We got 300 top shots, photoshopped (black & white, sepia etc).
A wedding book and twenty 8x12" prints.
A free 30 page custom made wedding collage.. (I chose alot of these photos to get printed up. We loved these!)
A photo slideshow on dvd, that went for 50 mins.... and we chose our own music.

He had a bonus, which we're going to do later in the year... a trash the dress shoot... I can't wait!! We also decided to order a coffee table book through him as well and only paid what it cost him to get it printed, which was a great deal.

Well worth the money, I would have paid more, for what we got! I still keep seeing different photos in the dvd slideshow.

We're currently considering the following
Price: $1650 (including gst)
Coverage: pre wedding photos at bride and grooms preparation places (1 hour before departure), ceremony, post ceremony photo shoot, reception for 2 hours.
Inclusions: 2 qualified photographers, all digital files from the day (as processed by photographers). Website hosted on [photographer's website] for 30 days.

I can't quite decide if it's reasonable or not. We met with another photographer who was only $650 (and recommended by someone I know) but we like these guys better, just not sure if it's $1000 better!

When I am grown up I will understand how beautiful it feels to administrate my life effectively.
Until then I will continue to torch all correspondence that bores me and to dance naked over the remnants of its still glowing embers.
