Hey Ness!

We paid $3400. So far we still only have the raw images (still making changes to album/prints), but what our package included was:

- 1 Photographer 12 midday until about 10:45 (it was a 10 hour package but they stayed much longer. I also ended up with the bonus of 2 photographers, as one was still learning - but they both took lovely photos)

- 400 Edited Prints
- 8 (from memory) assorted sized enlargements
- 1 large album (20 pages - not enough but we decided not to add pages and have a large momento of as many pages as we like as well - I have used all 150..)
- 2 Smaller Parent albums
- All raw images taken on the day on disc.

Between the 2 photographers we received just over 3000 photos. I love that we have so many, and I am still finding ones that I have not looked at before now, but a few are the same photo taken 3 or so times for different angles, lighting etc so it's not like we have 3000 unique photo's if that makes any sense. To pick out my favourites and not have any double ups I would say I would have over 1000-1200 photos.

Our package was $3900 and included:

8 hours of coverage
large album with 20 sides
3 enlargements
unlimited photographs
two photographers

however 20 sides was not nearly enoughly and so we ended up paying about $11k in total - that got us 68 sides in the album and also a high res cd of the photos - of which there were 770! The high res cd is usually $2k by itself but because we paid so much more they threw it in for us! We knew before it was going to cost approx this amount - but we loved their work so much we were willing to pay for it! Good luck finding a photographer!

ohmy.gif OMG! I hope you are aware how big a 68 side album is. Personally I think that this would be too big for people to flick through or even sit on a coffee table. For the additional amount and high res cd's you could do it sooo much cheaper if you did it yourself. It's really not difficult to do either. $11K is a lot of money for a wedding shoot and I would ensure that your contract with the photographer is read through with a fine tooth comb to protect yourself.

Each to their own I guess.

I am very interested in this aswell, I am curious as to the number of raw shots people got. We had a 7 hour package, 2 photographers the whole time & our total number of raw images was 1576 of which they picked 350 to fix up & put on a digital disc for us to choose from for our album and I was quite disappointed with this. Several friends we know have had results similar to Hope with 2000 + for 6 or more hours of photography and I was expecting closer to this number of raw shots to choose from. Was I expecting too much ? is 1500 raw images acceptable for a 7 hour package? or should it have been closer to the number Hope received?
