Hi Ladies,

I have been trying to think about what I want for my hair on our wedding day. I have long curly hair, and would really love for it to be in a style that will last all night. I have been thinking about having a soft messy side pony (similar to this)

but am not sure how it would work with a veil.... I think it might look strange with the veil coming out the back, and the hair off to the side IYKWIM?.

What do you think??

I think it can be pulled off.

It has been done before, here is a link with a few pics

Hair Style- Side ponytail

Also remember that you most likely won't be wearing your veil all night anyway.

I know that Segacious (one of the ladies here on I-Do) had this style with a veil and she looked gorgeous.

I don't see why not! As mentioned above other people have done so and it's looked fantastic.
