1st Year - Semi-Success - Keira was 10.5 months. I am in the photo with her. She is looking away, with her face bright red from crying. She does have a smile on her face because she was looking at a toy. Shame the girl waving the toy was no where near the camera!!

2nd Year - FAIL - Was so hysterical that she wouldnt even do it with me.

3rd Year - SUCCESS biggrin.gif Although it took her about 5 mins to get on his lap, she did in the end. It is a good pic of her. Liam on the otherhand is looking away. At least he isnt crying.

Here is this years pic smile.gif

Here is another one. Looks like they are looking at each other for reassurance tongue.gif

Last year she was four months and although I don't think she was 100% sure about the whole things she sat there but didn't smile.

We are going through a very shy phase at the moment so I am not super hopeful this year but we will see. I really hope so though, I guess we will know on Wednesday when we try it out!

First Christmas Emmy was 9 months and it was a SUCCESS!!! Sat on Santas lap and smiled the whole time smile.gif

Second Christmas was a semi-success - she wouldn't sit on his lap by herself but has a couple of different photos with her cousins and some friend (not crying, but not smiling either)....

This year I held high hopes as she is absolutley santa crazy!!!! Always talking about him, wanting to see him etc. Yesterday we said that we could go and see santa at the shops and she was dancing arounf chanting "Mummy!! My get to see Santa!!!! My so excited!!!!!" About two minutes from the shop that changed to sobs og "No my no want to see Santa....... My not like him anymore!" which got worse the closer we got to the shops...... Didnt want to push it so we didn't take her to see him, but instead looked at the trees and decos! Haven't given up yet though...... There is still a month till Christmas laugh.gif

We had great success!!! Yay!!!

Lachie has been really keen to sit on Santa's knee and although he got a little shy, he was happy enough. Ryan for who it was his first time even seeing Santa, at 8 months, happily got on Santa's knee and gave his best gummy smiles for all. Here's the best pic of both of them.

FIRST YEAR AT 8 MTHS - perfect

2ND YEAR 1 YEAR 8 MTHS - No way hosay not even if I go t in there - lined up for ages then she totally freaked and started screaming and crying

THIS YEAR - YES!!! My mum had to come too - no way would she sit on his lap - I had to stand holding her hand with her standing in front of santa. Santa then gently took a hold her he hand and replaced mine with his. she didnt smile but it took a few to get one where she didnt look terrified

Mum ( Nanna ) had ot come up so she pointed at nanna and stopped being scared

poor chicken was going "mummy mummy" really softly the whole time

Louise cannot wait to see your little lady with Santa!

We had success the first year and that was the year we went around the world, he was 8 months so gorgeous photos with Santa in Aust, UK and US. Last year he was 20 months and I had to be with him and even then he was so nervous!
This year he is somewhat more open to the Santa concept and I'm hoping if we go and 'meet' santa a couple of times he might then go and sit with him! Here's hoping!

For some reason we never got around to santa photos last year... ooops.

We'll give it a go this week I think but I'm not expecting any issues with Will - he would sit on anyone's lap! Just have to pick a time when Angus is happy!

First year (6 months) perfect no problems, even a smile!!!

Second year (18 months) ARGH we hung around watching for 45 MINUTES before he would even line up, he eventually did then screamed, we got one photo that if you didn't know him you would think he was smiling but he was actually screaming.

Third year (2&1/2) the photo people had a red sheet I could lie across my lap, Hayden sat on my lap and we angled so that it looked like he was sitting on Santas lap.

This year (3 & 1/2 and 8 months) We didn't even try with Hayden we just sat him straight on my red sheet covered lap, and Adam was more than happy to hang out on Santas lap and pull his beard laugh.gif Unfortunately the best shot we couldn't use as Hayden had his shirt up and showing his whole belly. So the one we got was one of the few that didn't have Adam looking at us, however I was not prepared to go back and Hayden refused any more photos.

Our local one also does this really cute thing where they sit the kids on an empty santa seat and santa looks out from behind, however Hayden didn't even want a bar of the seat rolleyes.gif

All these success stories have given me motivation to keep visiting Santa.

At this stage though this pic below will probably be the one and only Santa pic we ever have

Taken when Jack was 4.5 months old.. wub.gif

Here is the santa pic from this year. Last year Oliver did really well, and sat there happily (he was 8mths old at the time) this year 19mths old, I had to be in the photo too, and he sat on my lap furthest away from santa.. with the dummy in, i just wanted the pic, and if the dummy had to stay, it didnt bother me.. (i just dont like the me part of the picture, but ah well)

Last yr T was 8 months so that was easy and was the best and biggest smile..

umm this yr not sure how she will go BUT i will not force her. I think here is nothing worse then seeing them scream in fear just so u can get a photo and I honestly think its so cruel.
If she does she does and if she doesnt well thats kids for u.
My older daugher I have 6 outta 7 yrs.

Last year Kiara was 8 months so we were fine...

I was a little worried about this year, but we went on Friday and she sat on his lap. She didn't smile, was a bit confused, but didn't cry.
