Hi Girls,

Well it has been nearly a month since I walked down the aisle, but am only just now getting around to writing the story!! tongue.gif

I had the week off leading up to the wedding and although I didnt have that much to do, it was still a little stressful. On the Monday, it was sleep in day! I was really looking forward to that, but was woken up by the tradies building the houses around us and then this continued all week. I had my hair coloured for the day as well, by my sister-inlaw who is a hairdresser, but she doesnt cut my hair...

Tuesday I had some waxing done as well as getting my fringe fixed up by my hairdresser and also had to see the specialist about knee.

On the Wednesday was the 1st trip to Wollongong to take down all the decorations etc to the reception venue and to also take my dress to my Aunty's place as thats where I was leaving from. My best friend and her husband also arrived from QLD so we met up with them and they came to our place for dinner as well.

On the Thursday I had my eyebrows and underarms waxed as well as my spray tan, and then had to pick up the boys suits in the afternoon.

On the Friday, our nephew was born but with everything that I still had to get done, we didnt get around to see him. I had my nails done as well as a pedicure, packed a bag for the next 2 nights and then also had the next trip to Wollongong for the wedding rehearsal. I got to finally see my other bridesmaid as well at the rehearsal. (She had come down from QLD as well, but having a little 2 yr old meant that I only got to spend the Friday night with her whilst her parents looked after her son.) After the rehearsal, we headed back home and thats when i said good night to my FH for the last time before we got married. My mum made us home made pizza's and we had some champagne as well. I gave my bridesmaids their bags that i had for them which had some nail polish, foot scrub, jewellry and a wrap for the day in them.

We woke up on the saturday morning pretty early has the hairdresser was coming at 7:30 and i had to wash my hair! The hair dresser arrived a little late, but that was ok cause we were having breakfast still. It then turned into a conveyor belt as we each took our turn getting the hot rollers put in our hair. The make up artist arrived at 8:00am and then we took turns getting the hair finished and the makeup applied. My brother and his girlfriend turned up and we got everything together to leave. We left 45mins late, but we arrived at my Aunty's place still with enough time to have some lunch and get dressed before the photographer arrived.

We got snapping with the photos and by this time, my mum had already been crying ph34r.gif and i still didnt have my dress done up properly! We only had a hour to get photos done, but it seemed like it went for about 4 hours. We left for the church, and as we got closer into Wollongong, the sky opened and it poured. I wasn't that worried about it and just went with the flow. The minister's son came out and helped us out of the car with umbrellas. I quickly fixed my lipstick up as the bridesmaid where going down the aisle, and as i was about to go, I then realised that I still had to pull my viel over my face. The ceremony was entertaining, and my DH was so nervous, but looked so sexy standing up there all dressed up. Photos were taken outside the church and then off we went to the photo locations.

We managed to get some amazing photos taken with the most stunning background thanks to the weather. We had the photos done and then heading to the reception. We had some drinks and canapes and then it was time to go down to the room. We got annouced in as Mr & Mrs Walker, and then my Uncle said grace. The entree was being served, and it was at this point that we meet our little newphew Archie. wub.gif He is sooooo cute! The night went off with out a hitch and was an amazing night. My FIL caught the bouquet, so we did that twice! I had lots of dancing with my 2 year old niece wub.gif and got to catch up with a heap of people who I hadn't seen in a while.

We said our goodbyes and heading up to our room where one of my girlfriends had managed to put white rose petals all over the bed for us! We opened all of the presents and cards and went to bed at nearly 3am!

Beautiful Ames. Congrats!
If you have found a smile that is the sweetest one you've known,
If you have heard within a voice, the echoes of your own,
If you have felt a touch that stirs the longings of your heart,
And still feel the closeness in the moments you're apart.

If you have filled with wonder at the way two lives can blend,
To weave a perfect pattern that is seamless end to end,
If you believe some things in life are simply meant to be,
Then you have found your soul mate, your hearts own destiny.
